• I’ll say it again … how many of these viewers actually contribute to theit local PBS station – even if it’s a small amount ($5-$25)

  It doesn’t matter what raitings are for PBS if it doesn’t turn into pledges.

  PBS is so darn focused on getting big pledges – $35-$120 that people forget the local station would be glad to recieve small amounts.

• DA has struck a pitch perfect chord with American audiences who are still catching onto and catching up w/ the series. The British do “Pagentry” like no other. FINALLY some decent, pleasant television to happily escape into for an hour, or so. DA may prove to be as popular as the SATC series in a PG kind-of way, as it is a show with basically nice characters who respect each other and are just trying to do better for themselves, their families,l friends and community. Bravo! p.s. I wish PBS would air the longer British ITV unedited/uncut version of the show in the US, and simultaneously!
