Ginger & Rosa tells a story of friendship and betrayal between two teenage girls during the 1960s as the world faces the escalation of the Cuban Missile Crisis and the growing threat of nuclear war. Elle Fanning (Ginger), Alessandro Nivola, Christina Hendricks, Timothy Spall, Oliver Platt, Jodhi May, Annette Bening, and Alice Englert (Rosa) star. Directed by Sally Potter, the A24 Films release opens March 15:

I found it quite odd that the majority of the cast seems to be American, yet they all play British characters (although Benning sounded more American than British).
I find it odd that superman is british.
Fair trade, I guess, considering pretty much all the lead actors on TV here in America are British.
It’s more than common for Brits to play Americans, so why not? Is there a rule that says Americans can’t play Brits? And if so, why can Brits play Americans?
Looks interesting. I’ll go see it.
I sure think its great that annette benning keeps acting but what i really want to know is wheres Warren and when will we see him in another movie—an actor who always looks for interesting storys that can become most memorable–a great hollywood couple—-ehv2
