wow that looks awful.
This trailer tells the audience what to expect without question.
Hmm, what’s the word I’m thinking of? Oh yeah: “Why?”
Oh and I guess “Who?” as in “Who is this for?”
January used to be a dumping grounds for crap. Is that still the case? We’ll see!
This seriously looks so awful. I can’t wait to read the autopsy report on this one!
Haven’t there been something like six different trailers for this film since it finished production? Guess they really don’t know what to do with it…
This could end Renner for good
Amen to that.
Never had star potential.
Support the 1A rights of filmmakers, be they gorehounds or the “prestige” crowd. I saw Django, I’ll see this and I’ll see the Evil Dead remake. My friends (and yours, presumably) are getting employed on these movies. Don’t bend to the Sandy Hook guilt patrol. Besides, we need more films with Gemma Arterton in them.
But Renner told us himself that we shouldn’t partake of anything that smacks of gun violence, so I guess we have to follow his directive.
I hate to be the guy on deadline trashing something in the comments, but I hate this trailer even more. Wow. That. Looks. Terrible.
DOA
this does look amazingly awful!
looks like this should have been for more of a twilight audience, starring cute, young actors.
I think it looks like fun. Will it bomb? Probably, but at least it’s embracing what it is – shame about the lackluster CG though.
Whoever green lit this turkey should exit stage left.
Teenagers will like this they are the audience and it will do very well here and in Europe and South America. Their profit will depend on how much they really spent for it. They would have been smarter to cast 18 year old siblings instead of 35 year old siblings.
I don’t like to keep repeating what has already been said on this board, but gosh it looks awful. I saw the trailer a few times in theaters too. It seems to be about a leather clad brother and sister in their 20′s who want revenge against witches because witches killed their family. The witches all seem to be unattractive, deranged women. I think that is just the sort of woman who was killed in the Middle Ages by the thousands when they were accused of practicing witchcraft. In one of the trailers a witch seems to be burnt alive just like in the Middle Ages. Unless I am missing something that is the whole movie.
This is a red band trailer for a pg-13 movie! Is anyone buying into a bloody fun good time?
My God, IT’S VAN HELSING ALL OVER AGAIN. Talk about recycled trash. Doesn’t anyone learn? This is going to be the VAN HELSING of 2013.
Yep. This looks like another VAN HELSING to me. Crap… with a directing style and look that we’ve seen countless times before. The talent involved deserves better. It’s from the “acclaimed” writer/director of DEAD SNOW.
The new billboards have cut off the barrel of the gun, I suppose in a pathetic effort to minimize the implied mayhem and violence that I am sure the filmmakers believe would be less entertaining in the wake of the realization that the marketing of youth and assault weapons are not necessarily a good thing.
I’m just surprised not to see the line ‘A Uwe Boll Film’.
