Here Comes Honey Boo Boo came back strong Sunday with a Halloween special, which drew 3.1 million viewers. The hourlong special was the TLC redneck reality series’ most-watched and highest-rated episode to date; it garnered a 1.7 rating in adults 18-49 and a 20% rise from the 1.4 rating of the show’s last original September 27. Honey Boo Boo, which premiered in August, follows the antics of tiny pageant sensation Alana Thompson and her family. The initial 10 episodes of Season 1 proved a big hit for the network, averaging 2.4 million viewers. The Authentic Entertainment-produced series has one more special coming this month: a Thanksgiving special January 13. That will be followed by a Never Seen Before clip show February 10 and a Christmas special February 17.

Trash TV. This is middle America now to watch this junk. Disgusting.
Let’s see..Halloween special this past Sunday, Thankgiving special on January 13th,and a Christmas special on February 17th. At this rate the Easter special should air in June.
I was wondering about the same thing. Is Honey Boo Boo so stupid that she doesn’t even know when to celebrate the holidays?
Considering this is a reality show, honey boo and her family will need to celebrate the holidays themselves and have the footage filmed and aired at a later date. They’renot going to celebrate Christmas two months early so that the episodes can air corresponding to the holiday.
Just fyi many/most reality shows do film their “holidays” early and then broadcast them on or around the actual holiday.
No, most “reality” shows do not. Scripted shows do for sure, but reality shows do not.
3.1 million viewers? Most-watched & highest-rated episode to date? These latest numbers should provide my pal Craig Ferguson with more material. Comedy gold! He ought to have a field day with this one!
You rock, Geoff. Best robotic skeleton sidekick EVER.
(Yes. Not real. I know. Just saying.)
Uh, Brandon, 3.1 million viewers is EXCELLENT for a cable network.
I cannot imagine for the life of me how people continue to watch this shitfest of a show that is wrong in all ways and means. One of the biggest trainwrecks to air on television and yet 3.1 million people are just stupid enough to watch garbage like this? Are they that deprived of a social life? PITIFUL!!!!
I can watch this program because I came from a family of poverty and little education and can relate to the humor and such I’m really tired of tv shows that are fake and show life as it isn’t!I enjoy this show it’s far more real than most tv shows I,m 61 had 5 kids and 7 grandchildren. This is no worse than movies and show with children taking God’s name in vein cursing parents and disrespecting others.Honey BooBoo has a big heart as well as her family. And they care about each other more than most kids in families and support each other.Don’t dislike them cause they are in poverty if this is what really offends you I don’t know.I’m sorry just giving my opinion.
Honestly, I feel sorry for this kid.
