Here is a clip from 10 Years, the Jamie Linden-directed high school reunion film that is noteworthy because of the Oscar-eligible song “Never Had“, which is sung by Oscar Isaac. Isaac, best known for acting turns in The Bourne Legacy and Drive, will really land on the map this year for his singing talent. He’s the lead in the Coen Brothers-directed 60s folk music film Inside Llewyn Davis, which was financed without domestic distribution but should be a coveted film when it’s brought to distributors this year.

Wow. This is a side of horrendous, slathered in queso.
I can’t get over how talented this guy is. He continues to rock every role and then to see that he wrote this song as well? WOW. Cool beans! I hope he gets the recognition from the academy!
Spoken like a true agent of Oscar Isaac.
Great actor but it’s a bland generic song.
uh , never mind about Mr. Issac ( who is great , surely) , if this isn’t an entirely different Alan Doyle who co-wrote the song …. is lead singer etc. of the very literally – and figuratively – great Canadian band “Great Big Sea”, whose music is outstanding ( he is also launching a solo career) …. And I am NOT Alan Doyle’s agent!
here’s a music video collaboration he did with Russell Crowe:

Yes, it is that Alan Doyle.
It seems by looking at IMDB Oscar and he met on Robin Hood.
and I am Robin Hood’s agent!
Saw a screening of this pic a couple months ago. The reveal of his character’s story was really well done. He’s got a great voice too.
Oscar Isaac totally stole the show in “10 years” …what an actor!!
very talented.
I’m always impressed with anyone who writes their own songs, no matter the genre of music. If I could have any talent, I think singer/songwriter would be it. I wouldn’t wanna be super famous, but more of the the underground, mysterious, traveling minstrel type with a really cool decoupaged guitar case….. I dig the song, it’sAaa

I dig the song, I’ve been singing it since I saw the movie. He should be recognized for it, it’s a jam Also, he is one of the most impressive actors I’ve ever seen. I believe him in whatever role he’s playing, I feel like he has some rare charisma that makes an audience completely engrossed with what he’s saying or doing. He steals his scenes in a gracious way, without upstaging other the actors. Ok, I said my peace
