FOX News Channel (FNC) has re-signed Karl Rove, former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President George W. Bush, announced Roger Ailes, Chairman & CEO. This new multi-year deal will extend through the 2016 presidential election.
Rove joined FNC as a contributor in February of 2008, providing political analysis and key insights on the election seasons that followed. Prior to this, Rove served as Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor during President George W. Bush’s administration before he resigned in 2007. Rove also headed the Office of Political Affairs, the Office of Public Liaison, and the White House Office of Strategic Initiatives. Before his tenure at the White House, he was the chief strategist for President Bush’s 2000 Presidential campaign, as well as his re-election in 2004.
During his extensive career in politics, Rove also served as a political consultant to a number of Republican candidates during their successful campaigns, including former Texas Governor Bill Clements and former Texas Representative and Senator Phil Gramm. Additionally, he was president of Karl Rove & Company, a public affairs firm based in Austin and taught at the LBJ School of Public Affairs and in the Journalism Department at the University of Texas at Austin. Rove attended the University of Utah where he began his career with the College Republicans as their executive director before becoming Chairman of the organization.

So they’re looking to dominated the old white people with only a land line demographic.
Ha!
This is a ratings killer for FOX.
Doubtful. The Fox News faithful inexplicably still love him.
Karl Rove is a pathetic joke.
Is he still insisting Romney won?
Let’s see how much money Karl will lose for his investors in 2014.
I’m sure he didn’t get any offers from CNN or those loonatics at MSNBC, they only hire liberals. Joe Scarborough was a Republican once but he’s one of them now…a pod person.
Yeah it sucks that those other 2 networks require their employees to be truthful when reporting.
How many reporters and or hosts from those other 2 networks have been suspended or fired for for making up the news?
Several. You’re absolutely right alex, it’s a DAMN SHAME Fox doesn’t hold it’s OWN pack of proven liars to the same standard as everyone else. I’M SO GLAD YOU BROUGHT UP THIS TOTALLY VALID CRITICISM OF THEM.
Amen, Jose, my thoughts exactly.
Karl is a ratings winner and people will tune in just to see how crazy he is. This is why my news network is the most profitable. We put lunatics on the air because viewers love to watch crazy people. We don’t give a damn what the liberal elite think we know who our viewers are and we know what they like to see.
So he is criticized by Fox for his melt down on election night. As a result, we are told his contribution will be scaled back. Now he is back. Sounds as if Fox was placating its viewers.
BREAKING: Rove has just announced Sarah Palin has won the 2016 Elections!
After Karl Rove’s epic fail during the election, Fox re-signs him. Ha ! Ha ! Ha ! I needed a good laugh today.
To paraphase the Romney folks
We’re not going to let the News be dictated by fact-checkers.
Further proof that waterboarding truly does exist.

What a crock !!! Rove typifies everything that’s wrong with the GOP. I’m done with FOX News.
In the conflict between the Tea Party and the establishment Republicans Fox News is siding with the establishment Republicans. So much for fair and balanced.
I guess Fox must be getting sick of all those conservative ratings, and is trying to fit in with those other networks with liberal guests and no ratings.
Karl Rove is a blowhard loser who’s done tremendous harm to the GOP brand. Anything he’s on, I ain’t watching!
So sad to hear this. He clearly represents the ‘old boy’ moderate incumbant republicans. For most of us conservatives, he causes us to turn the channel. He makes me ill, most of the time. Go back to Texas and retire. We are tired of your pompous ‘know it all’ attitude.
Karl Rove should “go away” – He is symbolic of everything that is wrong with the Republican Party right now – I am registered Republican but will not contribute one cent as long as I keep hearing about how conservatives “Tea party types” do not represent the party. There is nothing wrong with Tea party views ( we have been to gatherings). WE (my husband and I and most of our friends) want conservative representatives. SO if not Republicans than may have to go to another party.
I was a registered Republican for 60 years and became an Independent after this last election because of the talking heads like Rove. He has seriously damaged the party and now has a large platform to do so again. Time to move on and support the Tea Party only.
