MTV is developing a project from the comic team of Dana Min Goodman and Julia Wolov. The show, a female buddy comedy set in high school, continues the duo’s relationship with MTV where they wrote for the animated series Good Vibes. The writing team, who got their break after being discovered by Adam Sandler at the Aspen Comedy Festival, previously sold scripts to Lifetime and Oxygen, and headlined a pilot produced for the WB in 2004. Goodman & Wolov are repped by ICM and Caliber Media.

Sounds cool. How will they play high school girls?
Don’t think they would be in it? They are writing it. I saw their old show and they wrote it. Funny, funny women.
Julia and Dana are sexy and talented!
Loved Good Vibes and want to see something other than reality.
Finally some good moves on MTV’s part!!
Susanne Daniels will have a blast with these two! I saw their show some years ago and she is a great exec for this.
Good Vibes was such a funny show and was canceled way too soon. Is this animated?
Good Vibes got killed way too soon. Are these the same girls from Punk’d?
Yeah, from Punk’d and work with Sandler. They’re like dudes.
they already have a female lead comedy. where’s the guy buddy comedy???
That’s called Teen Wolf most weeks. The comedy is in Tyler Posey’s acting.
Maybe this will be like GIRLS except they are both SMOKIN’ HOT!
Hopefully more like Good Vibes or Awkward. Dana and Julia are the opposite of Lena Dunham. They are fast and funny. Very fast…
Julia and Dana are incredibly funny and talented. So happy for their success!
Lucky Justin Levy.
Congrats Julia! So very happy and excited for you.
MTV is lucky to be in business with Dana & Julia…really hilarious performers who have grown into talented and funny writers. GO DANA & JULIA!
