This guy is really annoying… and not funny.
wrong. I expect this to be one of the funniest Oscar shows since Carson.
from your lips to God’s ears….hope so, too.
Huh, I didn’t look at it that way. Once stellapurdy makes a statement, it becomes truth.
hilarious! keep knocking them out of the park Manoel!!!!
He was very good today with the nominations. Most of this videos aren’t funny but the “ask your kids” one was very amusing. I think he’ll do a good job.
Annoying and far too impressed with himself. He will do nothing to bring in a younger demographic to an ossified, uninteresting awards show for a product that most 18-25 year olds care nothing about — Lincoln, Silver Linings Playbook, Les Miserables…? And the old fogies won’t know who he is or care. Dumb choice. Count me out.
I really dislike this “generational divide”. It’s age-ist.
Plenty of people are funnier than this guy, but nowhere near as inexplicably popular. Billy Crystal’s tired shtick guaranteed a change was coming and this is it. My guess is he’ll have better material and therefore pull this off, but Ricky Gervais was the right man for this job.
Kevin Spacey would be a decent host. He can sing, he’s a pretty good impressionist, he’s inside to the degree that Hollywood won’t be turned off by his snark, but also sarcastic enough that he won’t turn into a sycophant. Spacey is also at a point in his career that he isn’t whoring for Oscars anymore.
Comments On Deadline Hollywood are monitored. So don't go off topic, don't impersonate anyone, don't get your facts wrong, and don't bore me.
