The full slate of panels announced today includes the already confirmed Ryan Murphy series American Horror Story: Asylum (the closing-night panel) and The New Normal; Murphy will receive the inaugural PaleyFest Icon Award this year. There’s a great list of reasons why I don’t watch TV.
For the first time ever, I have no desire whatsoever to attend any of these.
THE NEW NORMAL? TWO BROKE GIRLS?
Where do you see The New Normal?
I go to a few of these every year. I like seeing new shows added to the mix – and I appreciate that they don’t do the SAME EXACT panels every season. The Paley team does a good job balancing the literate TV fans/wannabe writers/pop cuture blogger audience with the (possibly over zealous) hardcore TV show and actor fans who show up for these events. BUT, I would have LOVED to have seen AWKWARD, BUNHEADS, THE GOOD WIFE, and maybe even GAME OF THRONES on the lineup. Obviously not all of these shows shoot in/around LA, so that makes it trickier. Oh, and they should just try to nail down a schedule for a S.H.I.E.L.D. Paleyfest 2014 event for right now … it would sellout in 5 minutes.
Wow. No True Blood. Once a good show but now it sucks.
I would LOVE to attend many of these…New Normal, American Horror Story, Mindy Project, Nashville, New Girl, 2 Broke Girls and Once Upon A Time!
