ABC Family will air an all-day The Secret Life Of The American Teenager marathon March 18 ahead of the season premiere at 8 PM. The network said in October that it wasn’t renewing the series beyond the current season, which is set for a final 12 episodes. The drama from 7th Heaven creator Brenda Hampton was the breakout hit that put ABC Family on the scripted map when it premiered in June 2008, helping to launch several of the network’s next generation of series and making a star out of lead Shailene Woodley, who went on to land the co-lead opposite George Clooney in The Descendants, a role that earned her an Independent Spirit Award and Golden Globe nomination last year. Season 5 of the show premiered in June when 11 episode ran.

From ABC Family to the lead of a YA franchise (Divergent) and co-lead in a superhero franchise (The Amazing Spider-Man), looks like Shailene Woodley has luck on her side.
Yep Shailene is a lucky girl, she is talented too. After her tv debut she can move on to big screen, looking forward to watch her next movies. That being said i hope some other from the cast will have some good shot for a career too.
And finally will be sad to see ending this sappy, corny sometimes pretty ridiculous little teen soap but still a guilty pleasure, i assume and can’t wait to watch a little happy ending for Amy and Ricky (great chemistry between the actors).

Watched the promo…and have watched every episode multiple times…The promo has turned me off to the show..I was reminded that it is not always as bad as it seems…not sure if I can stomach…we believers need a happy ending!

The promo does give it all away. I can not believe Amy breaks up with Ricky and goes to Ben. I wanted a happy ending. Ricky Amy and John all one happy family. Ben gets on my nerves. I’m sad and glad that the show is over. I have to admit the actors are the worst. Although the show was pretty bad, I somehow in joyed it.
I love the Secret Life of the American Tennager I watch the show every Monday night. I love Ricky and Amy because they both have a son John and Ricky and Amy needs to stay together and get married on the show on March 18th on a Monday. Ricky and Amy please do not let me down because I really want you both to be together for your son John. Ricky and Amy March 18th is my Birhtday. Please keep this show tgether. Ben has always deserved Amy.Ben was there 4 amy when ricky wasn’t. Amy has always loved Ben. She jumped backed into the arms of ricky b’cos she felt ben broke her heart by flying to NY to tell her Adrian was pregnant. Which was very cruel of her.
I honestly do not believe that anything will happen between Amy and ricky, I mean yes It looks like they will end things on this last season, however; the promo can be pretty decieving which is why I go by what the episodes lead up to and after all from what Amy and ricky have been through these past season’s, I do believe that they will get their happy ending and be together.
I hope they stay together. they look so cute as a family. PLEASE KEEP THIS SHOW GOING!!!!! DON’T LET US FANS DOWN….

I really wish they would keep this series going. I never saw it until not too long ago I watched it on netflix and it is up to date. I got hooked and watched all seasons of it and love it. PLEASE KEEP THE SECRET LIFE!!!!

I have watched this series and 7th Heaven and I wish this series wasn’t ending. I was a teenage mom and my oldest kids have been watching this from the beginning and it was a family show. My boys know who all the characters are, and I find it sad that it is coming to an end.
I really like this show I’ve been so addictive to it that now that its over I’m really sad I was looking forward for more seasons. I hope they change there mind and make another season.. Its a very good show I love it..
