It almost doesn’t matter who the host of Saturday Night Live is as the NBC late-night sketch show’s ratings keep steady. Last night’s episode with host Adam Levine and musical guest Kendrick Lamar drew a 5.0/12 in the metered-market households and a 2.8/12 among adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters. That was on par with SNL‘s show last week with host Jennifer Lawrence and musical guest The Lumineers (4.9/12, 2.8/12) as well as SNL‘s previous original, the holiday edition with host Martin Short and musical guest Paul McCartney+Nirvana (5.1/12, 2.8/12 on December 15). Last night’s SNL featured the return of the Lonely Island Guys for another classic-in-the-making digital video, YOLO (You Only Live Once), featuring Levine and Lamar.

Your idea of “classic” is far more generous than my own
You’re right, it doesn’t matter… this show hasn’t been funny in years.
Not the funniest Digital Short but the production quality is outstanding. One of the better music video’s Ive seen in years (do artists even make videos anymore?).
I’ll take this over ‘Im On A Boat’ any day of the week.
Holy crap, that must have cost a lot of money to shoot.
They made “Just 2 Guyz” for about $5 and it’s just as funny.
But hey, good for them. Use it if you got it I guess.
I thought the digital short was just okay, but the rest of the night was hilarious. Adam Levine is a good actor. I didn’t know he could act as well as sing. My favorite sketch of the night had to have been the turf war with Maroon 5, Train, Jason Mraz, and Hootie without The BLowfish.
Adam is such a good looking man – the nice Jewish boy who looks like a shikse…But all those tatts has really ruined his body for m
SNL needs Samberg back….
