With Adam Levine, star of NBC’s The Voice, hosting the network’s Saturday Night Live, two things were inevitable — the sketch show doing a parody of The Voice and Levine taking his shirt off. SNL got them both out of the way in Levine’s opening monologue, which featured surprise appearances by Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld.

Why do Jews always bring up the fact that they’re Jews? I love Seinfeld but WTF? Why do the Jews constantly bring up the fact they’re Jewish? Do you hear any other comics or entertainers bringing up the fact they’re Catholic or any other religion for that matter? I don’t get this. Why is this necessary?
Because “the Jews” are a minority, and there’s comedy inherent in the minority experience. That’s why “the blacks” and “the browns” talk about their experience, as well.
Excellent point Mr. Curious.
I will be sure to bring this topic up with the Elders at the “Control the Media” working group during the next Zionist Conspiracy meet & greet in Beverly Hills.
Shalom!
Those meetings are held in Brentwood.
M. Schneerson, the fact that there is a Zionist Conspiracy meet & greet in Beverly Hills is proof that Curious is onto something. Where exactly is this being held?
Brunch get togethers at Nat n Al’s. Next Sunday some of the guys are getting together at Jerry Weintraub’s place to influence — oops — watch the Superbowl.
We do our annual membership drive during the Chabad Telethon. Be sure to pick up your decoder ring at your local City National Bank Branch. (Proof of circumcision and Bar Mitzvah are required).
i love you sir schneerson
Good god. Leave your shirt on. Ugh. The skit was good until Seinfeld. Self deprecating “Jewishness” jokes can be worth a chuckle on the rare occasion. But Seinfield uses that card too much.
