UPDATED: American Horror Story co-creator/executive producer Ryan Murphy lifted the veil a bit on the upcoming third installment of the FX horror series. At a screening of the season finale tonight, he confirmed that the storyline in season three will be a romance set in modern times, and that Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters will join star Jessica Lange on the next cycle. All three appeared both in American Horror: Asylum, whose finale airs next Wednesday, and the original American Horror Story.

Evan Peters characters = creepy, yet incredibly hot? Sarah Paulson is just wow, can’t wait to see more of her, and Jessica Lange seems to transform effortlessly into any role. Keep it coming!
Not surprising. If anyone’s romance is a horror story, it’s Sarah Paulson’s.
My cast wish list would include zachary quinto, lily rabe, james cromwell and the fantastic ian mcshane. But they have sarah paulson and lange back at least. Evan peters was subsationally better in season 2 so I’m happy to see him again.
Best show on television. Can’t wait for next season…love as horror, how appropriate.

Nazi experiments, demonic possession, alien abduction, serial killers…This season was completely nuts and all over the place. I loved every minute of it! It’s still the most unsettling show on television. Looking forward to a third season. I hope Jessica Lange continues with the series for as long as it is on because this is the best work she’s done in years and it’s a great opportunity for an actress in her age demographic.

Season two was possibly the most laughable attempt at a follow up to the first season. Bring back Connie and Vera Farmigas sister or else don’t bother with season three.
