Travel Channel has renewed eight series for its 2013 schedule, which network president Laureen Ong said is moving away from travelogues and “more towards a lean forward experience”. The renewed series are Airport 24/7: Miami, Baggage Battles, Bizarre Foods America, Dangerous Grounds, The Dead Files, Hotel Impossible, Mysteries At The Museum and Ghost Adventures, the latter of which is returning for its eighth season, the longest-running of the renewed shows.

TV One has renewed R&B Divas, the network’s most-watched reality series that premiered over the summer, for a second season, and ordered a spinoff series R&B Divas: LA. Eight episodes have been ordered for both shows, with the original series set for a spring debut and the spinoff coming in Q3. R&B Divas followed Faith Evans, Nicci Gilbert-Daniels, Monifah Carter, Syleena Johnson and Keke Wyatt working together to produce a compilation album. All are returning. R&B Divas: LA‘s cast has not been announced. R&B Divas is produced by ThinkFactory Media.
