BET’s premieres of The Real Husbands Of Hollywood and Second Generation Wayans were cable’s top two originals Tuesday. But that’s not the only top spots BET garnered from the debuts: With 4.15 million viewers for its 10 PM debut and a 2.1 rating, Real Husbands emerged as the top sitcom cable premiere this season in total viewers and the adults 18-49 demo. Real Husbands’ 11 PM encore pushed its total viewership for the night to 6.5 million. The series, based on the Real Husbands sketches on the BET Awards, is created by and stars Kevin Hart. America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon, husband of American Idol judge Mariah Carey, is also among those on the show. Following Real Husbands at 10:30 PM was Second Generation Wayans, which drew 3.4 million viewers and a 1.7 rating. Mixed with its 11:30 PM repeat, the series attracted 4.7 million viewers overall Tuesday. Wayans stars Damien Dante Wayans, Craig Wayans, George O. Gore II and Tatyana Ali.

BET is one of the few networks that actually knows what the f— it’s doing. Congrats!
^^^^^ to ‘bill’ please clock out of work over at BET aka EBT studios now. It’s clear you are an obvious plant. No one who even knows what deadline is, actually watches or even has heard of BET lol. Secondly, if anyone who peruses this site DID watch BET the LAST thing they would be typing is that BET is one of the “few networks that actually know what the f— it’s doing.”
Unless “knowing what their doing” means single handedly destroying any respectful, realistic images of minorities that are left. BET is a disgrace. And the true few ‘people’ who run it, have no desire to showcase people of color in a positive light.
They are NOT paying you enough to sell out your soul to this extent. Seriously. Have some pride and self respect for the arts and yourself.

Watched the RHOH Tuesday night. It was very funny. Much love to that crew-I hope it continues to be a great success for them.
Why did The CW stop targeting black audiences?
Great to see Black leading men leading. As the New York Times review points out, there are few other TV homes for them these days. Though Black women are doing some strong roles (Deception, Scandal, Person of Interest, etc.).
It’s a funny-ass show. JB Smoove is my favorite husband. So warm, hilarious, charismatic.
Kevin Hart is effervescent, funny to death … and surprisingly hung for a shorter man.
Robin Thicke is sexy as f***. Great, great singer-
Boris is gorgeous and funny in a quirky way on the show. I gotta watch him in action again to exactly get it.
Duane Martin is pound-for-pound the luscious heavy. The secret sauce of the episode.
The bi-racial lawyer is terrific and the Nanny is a fresh take on the naughty sistagirl.
The show is funny on physical, situation and jokelines levels. Something for everything.

7 comments on a BET post and 3 of them are mine. LOL. If this doesn’t tell you where BET stands in the realm of REAL HOLLYWOOD….I don’t know what will. P.S. JB ‘smoove’ or whatever he calls himself…is actually quite terrible. Not trying to be mean…but he would be better if he or the cast addressed his painfully obvious speech impediment versus acting as if he doesn’t have one..when it’s so glaringly obvious that his tongue works over time trying to sound out each word before they fall haphazardly out of his mouth.
The show gave me a couple laughs. Everyone has their own lane on there. Good luck to the cast. But BET? I will run through the streets naked when that network is demolished. They’ve done more in isolating minorities from mainstream media then any of the white counterparts. The bar is set so LOW that it’s no wonder why 98% of black actors/actresses cannot cross over to mainstream. BET promotes low to no talent, zero originality, and absolutely NO true vision.

BET’s not any worse than CMT or LOGO. Just VIACOM segmenting audience.

Show is hilarious! Bottom line. Finally a show on BET that someone can watch that didn’t get raised by there grandmother.
