With visits from Kim Kardashian and Psy, Betty White’s Off Their Rockers was back for its second season with back-to-back episodes on NBC last night. The hidden camera series notched a 1.5/4 rating for its 8 PM show and a 1.8/5 for its 8:30 broadcast. The 8 PM Off Their Rockers was down 16% from its April 4 regular time slot debut and a sharp 46% from its January 16, 2012 special premiere. The show drew 5.66 million viewers for its 8 PM airing and 6.14 million at 8:30, the latter a series high for the time slot. Meanwhile, without The Voice as a lead-in, Go On (1.5/4) was down a harsh 38% from its last original December 4 and The New Normal (1.3/3) was down 24% from its last new show on the same date; both are series lows for the freshman shows. Parenthood (1.9/5) followed, up 6% from last week.
On CBS, NCIS (3.5/10) was up a slight 6% from its last original three weeks ago, but with 20.87 million total viewers the procedural was by far the night’s most watched show. Only NCIS: LA (3.0/8), which was flat with its last new show December 18, was close with 17.79 million viewers. Those numbers were the season highs for both. Also back with its first new show in three weeks, Vegas (1.6/4) was with its December 18 broadcast. With 16.481 million watching, CBS won the night in total viewers and in the adults 18-49 demo.
Fox was back with a full night of new shows, starting with Raising Hope (1.7/5), which was even with its last original December 11. Ben and Kate (1.2/3) saw a 9% rise over its last new show December 4, while New Girl (2.0/5) was flat with its last original December 11. The Mindy Project (1.5/4) finished the night for Fox, even with its last original December 11.
ABC started the night with repeats of Modern Family (1.7/5) and The Middle (1.5/4). That was followed by Happy Endings (1.4/4). The single-camera comedy was up 8% from the 1.1/3 of its last original Tuesday original broadcast December 18. Don’t Trust The B—- In Apt 23 (1.1/3) was flat with its last Tuesday original three weeks ago. On the flipside, with only two more episodes to go in its run, Private Practice (1.1/3) was down 8% from its last original December 18.
The CW had a repeat of Hart Of Dixie (0.3/1) followed by Emily Owens, M.D. (0.3/1), which was down 25% from last week’s show.

Nbc is the one Off Their Rockers with some of their programming choices. I mean seriously this network( & I use the term “network” loosely) seems to be heading more & more into CW territory. Besides The Voice-WHAT ELSE YOU GOT?!?! Maybe the reason Go On was down wasn’t because it didn’t have The Voice as a lead-in, MAYBE IT’S BECAUSE GO ON SUCKS! Has Nbc considered that a possibility?
Gasp! You’re right! All they need to do is make shows that you don’t think suck! It’s all so simple!
In the words of Mel Gibson, NBC is officially bent over backwards with their balls in a knot.
What’s so special@an ncis procedural to get 20million? Never seen it and have no wish to… Is just another CBS procedural & all seem the same. Hope new normal survives. It can be better but I hope it makes it and maybe they get some new producers and writers
Well, if you haven’t seen NCIS why comment on it? I get your point about CBS and their procedurals, but hey there in this to make money and as these numbers show there’s still money in these procedurals. Besides NCIS Is one the best on that network and you’re missing a great series, not to mention the events of last night’s episode are a great example of why its so great.
This show has to go or air at 9:00 PM east coast instead 8:00 PM. Now you wonder something wrong with our next generation becuase this trash is making a net work money. There is no value of the show. Please bring back hidden camera if you want a real show.
NBC is trash airing Off their Rockers
The trash on TV networks has long term affect on the morality of previous and future generations. Clean it up!
I freaking love off their rockers. My dad loves it my boyfriend loves it. It is sooooo funny. Haha.
