Twentieth TV-disrtributed freshman syndie strip Dish Nation has been has been renewed on the Fox Television Stations as well as on Sinclair, Tribune, Cox, Meredith, Local TV and Lin stations. The announcement was made on Day 1 of this year’s NATPE confab. The half-hour entertainment news program features drive-time radio personalities from various markets riffing on what’s hot and happening that day in pop culture. According to Twentieth TV, in the most recent ratings period, Dish Nation tops all new first-run programs, including Steve Harvey and Katie, ranking No. 1 among adults 18-34 and is tied for No. 1 among adults 18-49. Additionally, Dish Nation, the youngest-skewing first-run syndication program, has grown to 1.3 million viewers in January — an +18% increase since its September premiere week. It is produced by Studio City. Dish Nation is the latest syndie freshman to be renewed for second season, joining NBCU’s Steve Harvey and Trisha Goddard.

I like TMZ, but I hate Dish Nation. The personalities are all terrible. I don’t think I sat through 10 minutes of this show ever. It is beyond awful.
They never should have fired Blaine and Allyson from Detroit. They were by far the funniest of all the radio stations. It’s too bad someone over at 20th didn’t think Allyson was good looking enough for tv. I always thought if you were funny it didn’t matter how overweight you were.
I actually love dish nation. I find everyone on there to be hilarious. As a matter of fact, I hope they add Heidi & Frank to the show. They were great addition to the show as subs for one of the vacationing shows.
They keep me laughing! but the Chicago crew that subs are kind of boring, not loving them so much and I miss Detroit, They were cute together and her laugh was infectious, I really hope weight was not an issue… please say it ain’t so!
