Aisha Hinds (Detroit 187) is the latest regular cast in Under The Dome, CBS’ 13-episode summer series from Steven Spielberg and Stephen King based on King’s bestselling 2009 novel. Under The Dome is set in Chester’s Mill, a small New England town suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. The town’s inhabitants must deal with surviving the post-apocalyptic conditions while searching for answers to what this barrier is, where it came from and if and when it will go away. Hinds will play Carolyn Hill, a take-no-prisoners Los Angeles entertainment attorney who is trapped in Chester’s Mill while driving through town with her partner, and their daughter, on their way to deliver their teenaged daughter to a camp for troubled youth. Hinds, repped by Greene & Assoc., also recurs on the CW’s Cult.

I’m guessing she’s the reworking of Carolyn Sturges in the book. I’m curious now that, when using the word “partner” if Thurston will become a woman or not. I don’t care either way. But I like the sound of the change… She was good in Detroit 187.
Good news! Great actress!!!
I know Aisha Hinds to be a PHENOM of a Gift and under the direction of THEE Steven Spielburg it’s a GUARANTEED WIN!!! I’m excited about this one! Thank you, CBS!
I met her today on set.She was very nice and talked to my daughter!!
The cast looks good so far. I just wonder who is gonna play the villan, Renny. He’s one of King’s best villian’s to date in my opinion.
Breaking Bads Dean Norris will play big Jim Rennie. I think hes dead on for that show cant wait for this series to start.
Why in the hell do we need Carolyn Hill and her daughter who were never in the book. There were more than enough characters in the book to draw from. Stupid!!!
Well Under the Dome’s dates are numbered. Detroit 187 cancelled. Cult cancelled. Invasion cancelled. Prison Break cancelled. Anything Aisha Hinds touches gets cancelled
