Los Angeles. CA – February 11, 2013 – The Online Network announced today that production will commence on the highly-anticipated revivals of the beloved long-running serial dramas “All My Children,” and “One Life to Live,” beginning February 25. Principal production for both series will take place in Stamford, Connecticut with new episodes of “All My Children” and “One Life to Life” set to debut later this spring.
In an announcement earlier this year, Prospect Park’s The Online Network revealed its plans to re-introduce the beloved vanguard franchises, through a groundbreaking content deal that will bring premium first-run, broadcast-quality programming to a mass market audience via the Internet. Brand new 30-minute episodes of both “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” will be launched each weekday and available to stream online via the free Hulu.com service and to subscribers of Hulu Plus making these venerable dramas available in a new format that suits the viewing habits of the digital generation. In addition, the iTunes Store will offer both series via iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Apple TV and Mac or PC.
Breathing new life into the storied franchises, Prospect Park and TOLN will blend updated themes and fresh faces with the fan-favorite Emmy-winning actors and writers who made these series must-watch viewing for legions of loyal fans.

Recurring actors include: Sean Ringgold (Shaun Evans), Shenaz Treasury (Rama Patel), and Nick Choksi (Vimal Patel)
Additional casting details will be announced in the coming weeks.

I wish them the best. I was just wondering how they’ll make money. I mean why would anyone subscribe to the service if they can just stream it for free?
They should make a profit through basic advertising on Hulu, just as the broadcast networks do on regular television. Otherwise, they will make money from people buying the episodes through iTunes and through people’s subscriptions to Hulu Plus.
AMC is looking weak in comparison to OLTL who has basically 90% of their cast back.
Don’t care about AMC!! Love love love One Life to Live!! Want to know the reveal that Victor is alive!! Love the Todd & Victor story!! Love Jessica(loved Nash too!)& Natalie! Love Clint, Bo & David Vickers!! Missed Vickie, Dorian & Blair Missed them all like family!! Bought a second computer so kids won’t stop me from watching!!
Word is that AMC has more cast signed, but is holding off on announcing anything to keep up the suspense over the cliffhanger shooting.
Still holding my breath that they may go to cable. Count me out as a viewer if they don’t (and not by choice… we can’t watch internet video). Though I’m happy for y’all that can watch, I’m sad I can’t.
I CAN’T WAIT!!!! IT’S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING…WELCOME TO THE WORLD WIDE WEB “AMC & OLTL”, MANY OF YOUR FANS INCLUDING ME HAVE BEEN BESIDES OURSELVES WITHOUT OUR SHOWS. THANKS FOR COMING BACK!!!!
Does that mean you can watch on tablet through hulu plus
WHEN WILL AMC OLTL BE ON ONLINE IN 2013 WHERE DO I FIND AT
Sign me up. Make me pay. Whatever Let me see Viki and Dorian one more time Lets roll
They still need to find a broadcast partner to make this viable. I know that Days is the top search on NBC.com and that Y&R does well online; however, both shows have the networks to serve as massive adverts, reminders, to generate traffic.
I just don’t see two shows that have been off air for over one year being run away online hits. Also, these shows have older viewing bases than average.
So what if the viewing base is older? There are alot of us “older” people out there.
I’m not “older” i’m not even 20 yet and I am soo excited for oltl coming back
I’m really glad they’re back but I just can’t see that many people watching these when you’re going to have to do it on-line or actually pay for them. Not enough people were watching to keep ABC satisfied when they were basically free on ABC, and viewers had to make no effort to view, and NOW thy think people are going to watch by the droves when you might have to PAY for them? I’m totally missing something….
Things will be different but shouldn’t we be rejoicing that they are coming back at all??? Think what those people who used to watch the other cancelled soaps must feel like, they would be ecstatic to have their programs back in some form…the glass is filling up, not draining!!!
No one said you will have to pay for it. If it’s free on Hulu, it will likely be free on iTunes as a daily Podcast. Many programs that air daily are currently available free as podcasts. Even if there IS a fee, it will probably not exceed .99 cents, and I will gladly pay it to have my Pine Valley back.
the people who have been dedicated fans of these 2 soaps will not mind paying. i have been missing them so much. they have been a part of my days since the mid-70′s.
ABC, is weak if you ask me, I seem to not have time to watch what I want so I am VERY happy they are back, thanks for working on it for us who care.
I will be very surprised if this lasts very long. We the audience are expecting what they saw on ABC network tv and we are not going to get that. Not all the actors are signing up, they are shooting in a different place, and probably without some of the sets and costumes we all know. These shows are going to be very different. I wish that they would just let then be a really nice memory than making them into something we viewers don’t really recognize. I don’t want them to turn into cheap versions of our beloved shows.
I hope they do an android app. We can’t use iphones in our area very poor reception.
My phone is my go to for internet service.
Nellie Naysayers just cannot give this effort the chops they’re earning. The Prospect Park folks are hardly media novices; they’re VERY smart businessmen who are very likely breaking some important new ground. You WISH you had the vision and cojones to risk an attempt like this… Zip it!
Well Said EricB! I am so excited that they are making this effort. I’ve been watching AMC since the year it began (I was in my mother’s womb listening – haha
Just be happy… I am. And yes, I will pay for it.
I’m excited that these soaps are coming back to life(!), but I’m also praying they air on TV, even if it’s cable. I can’t get rid of cable because it is a must for my job, but my internet connection is crap, and because of this, I don’t watch any videos on the internet.
My mother is also sick and elderly and she doesn’t use computers, but no words could explain the joy these soaps would bring to her if she could watch them again. Which is only possible if they air on TV.
They keep saying first run will be on Hulu, Hulu Plus and Itunes, but I think they will show up on cable, just not first run. I think it will be like it is now, where if you miss it on regular showing, you will be able to watch it on cable later, but we will see. Either way, I will watch it!! I am addicted after 40 years, and I do thank PP for their effort, and hope it is a great success!
yes it needs to be back on tv not the net i dont see them lasting long on the net to start with they are missing 90% of the best people
You made an old lady, very happy.I was so sad when All my children was canceled. Now I,m very happy again
Thank You.
I’m sooooo happy I have Prayed for this since we went off the air and I thank God for my family to be coming home. I love n missed u all very much. I can not wait until the day we are together again! Love n Kiss. Please let me know in my email.
Why y’all didn’t ask cbs to pick up our soaps that idea is not going to last long you will have to pay a monthly bill for the pc to watch and what about the people that don’t have a computer that idea sucks.oh by the way who did jr shoot?
Excited for AMC to come on. Cliffhanger was a good one to make people want to come back! LOVE IT!
Yea I’ve waited for this for so long! It’s almost like I’ve been in morning for family members .
EricB, some of us are not “nellie naysayers”, we are just concerned. I was an avid viewer of the ABC shows. I watched for many years and was terribly disappointed when they were canceled. I’m just concerned that the shows are going to be very different from what they were. If they are good, than great. I’m just worried. My friend went to a sale of the props and set pieces so all the homes will be different, some of the actors in core families will not be joining up, they will be a half hour and shot in a very different studio with very different lighting and cameras. I’m hoping they turn out great but people should embrace that these shows are going to be VERY different than what they were. I’m just worried that the changes will not be for the good. I’m planning to watch and I have my fingers crossed but I don’t want those treasured shows to be cheapened.
This is such awesome news! Looking so forward to seeing OLTL and AMC again,
Please re-run a few of the shows before they went off the air so we can all re-cap the story lines.
Thanks!
They are playing the original episodes between 1 and 4 am EST on Soapnet if you want to catch up on some of the story lines.
I am so excited to have these shows come back. I am already used to watching HULU because between work & school I miss shows and my DVR does not work properly so I watch them on there with less commercials. I think eventually cable tv will pick them up. I do not understand why SOAPNET won’t pick them up when all they show is re-runs of them anyway. They could just place the new episodes in the time slots that the classic episodes come on…light bulb anyone?
I really think you are right Mario, I think they will show up on Soapnet. I understand that some people lost soapnet, but Direct TV still has it. There is a possibility that will show up elsewhere too! I think they already know this but want to let people get all excited about what if!!! We can all wonder, and guess what will happen, but we will see very soon, thanks to PP.
I wish they would just bringit back to abc I think they would have more viewers.
Thrilled they are moving to online…I already watch Day’s online, and love it…Sorry for people who cant view online…but seriously its 2013, upgrade your PC and internet. I get it will not look exactly the same…but back in the day, when an actor left the show, they replaced them, Chandler Mansion has had the stairs in nearly every room, and Ruth Martin, went from being a refined blonde lady, to a red headed former catwoman…we all adjusted.
I’m thrilled that they are going to try. I do hope I will be able to watch it either online or through cable but if it’s going to cost more then Netflix monthly bill I won’t be able to. Cable alone is to pricey for me. I have missed these shows so much lol honestly never tune to abc before 8 pm anymore these days. Welcome back AMC & OLTL always welcome in my home.
There is this new thing called Roku that cost less than cable and it streams straight to your TV it has many pay channels or free channels like netflix and Hulu and Hulu+ they cost less than cable and satellite and you have more choice of what you watch. I already watch many of my programs through this and enjoy older episodes because you can go back and watch past programs to catch up with what is going on. I cannot wait to watch on Hulu+ $7.99 a month instead of the $93 I was paying for satellite. Whoopy what a bargain
Oltl and Amc is real life experience instead of scripted reality thank god for the Internet to bring back classic soaps
If they are going to cable, I wish they’d say so already. It’s painful to get so excited about these shows if I, in actuality, won’t be able to view them (if they just air online). Hoping to dear God that they air on cable television!
I’m also hoping that they come to cable. My mother absolutely LOVES both ALL MY CHILDREN and ONE LIFE TO LIVE and she has missed these shows every day since they went off the air. But she does not use computers (and she doesn’t own a computer). Prospect Park, please don’t forget about the great population of viewers who cannot watch on the internet! Please do everything you can to air them on a cable channel!
