Too scary for me! I will NOT be seeing this in the theater (but I’m sure every teen in America will)!
Looks great! I’ll pretend that the 2nd half of Insidious didn’t fall flat. Can’t deny this one has a great cast lined up with it either. Here’s hoping this one packs a punch!
I enjoyed this when it starred George C. Scott.
… what movie? the Changeling? this looks nothing like the Changeling — I see no similarity at all, except that it’s in a house?
But that’s the only George C. Scott horror movie I know of?
Nice.
Looks like more jump scare dross. Come on horror people, let’s bring some intelligence back to the genre.
Patrick Wilson in…. INSIDIOUS 1 / INSIDIOUS 2 / THE CONJURING
and coming soon…
PARANORMAL OVEREXPOSURE
HAHAHAHAHA
overexposure is right!
how does he not see that or his agents?
find him some better scripts that don’t have haunted kids!
Wasn’t there a scene just like this in that crappy flick THE MESSENGERS, right down to the children’s toy music?
Clap On Clap Off… The Clapper!
Happy family comes into seemingly normal home …CHECK.
Mom alone with kids…CHECK.
Mom playing with kids, something creepy happens…CHECK.
Things mysteriously falling off walls…CHECK.
Tiny light source in big dark space with sudden appearance of something sinister…CHECK.
Creepy cellar…CHECK.
Kids voices singing creepy children’s song…CHECK.
Great job, Warners/New Line.
This “killed it” (no pun intended) when previewed at Comic Con NY.
Literally stole the show.
Classy – old school – slow burn.
This is horror done RIGHT!
It literally stole the show? Oh my gosh. That IS freaky.
This is beginning to feel like grocery shopping at a gas station: You have two brands of any one item to choose from, the crap brand and the even crappier brand. I guess having Lili Taylor in this makes it the better of the two, but poor Lili Taylor.
LOVED the script. Wan knows what he’s doing. This will be a hit.
