EXCLUSIVE: I’ve learned that the CAA talent agent Isabella Brewster who turned manager is turning back into a talent agent. She starts at Jeff Berg’s Resolution Agency on Monday. Sources say the tenpercentery likes that Brewster specializes in young talent, especially ethnically and racially diverse talent (Hispanics, African-Americans, etc). She left CAA last April (CAA About To Undergo More Agent Exits). She is the younger sister of actress Jordana Brewster, co-star of TNT’s Dallas and Universal’s upcoming Fast & Furious 6.
Editor-in-Chief Nikki Finke - tip her here.

Awesome news! I’ve had the pleasure of working with her and she’s terrific! Resolution is lucky to have her!!
I can’t be the only one wondering if she’s as hot as her big sister.
Oh she is…
good group forming…
green, smiley, nalibotsky, unger, lazar
… is N David next?
With the announcement of some ICM’ers leaving yesterday for Resolution (good break again, Ms. Finke!) and the former CAA’er Brewster heading there too, this is starting to look the “EXODUS” and Berg looks that kid in a robe named Moses! Now, please TAKE ME out of “the desert of nonrepresentation” and show me “The Promised Land,” dear Moses Berg!
Okay, I’m doing a gratuitous suck-up job here in the hopes of gaining LIT REPRESENTATION for a project I’ve put in front of them! What can I say, I’m about as SHAMELESS as most other STARVING relative newbie screenwriters out there and maybe Resolution offers some HOPE in this CORPORO-CONSOLIDATED entertainment industry here?! ;-D
I always hear/read the phrase, “represents/represented young talent”, however, no one has the gumption to define ‘young” because using the word loosely gives agents an ‘out’ shoud age descrimination come to play. So, what is it? Yound is under 10? Under 20? ’cause I’m sure if you’re over 21 no agent will admit you’re ‘old’, or am I wrong. please enlighten us, all you agents out there. Surely there’s at least an agent (let’s hear from the top 20 agencies only) out there with an honest answer for all talent to hear.
Young is under 16. 30 is very old.
What great are CD’s who won’t read someone after three years of seeing them submitted, then see them and say “why don’t I know you?”
Cd’s are the industries great waste.
