Fox News Channel has added Herman Cain as a contributor. The former National Restaurant Association CEO, who ran for the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, will join other recent additions to the cable news network like former senator Scott Brown and former congressman Dennis Kucinich. “Cain’s impressive resume makes him a valuable addition to the Fox News and Fox Business lineup. As a political expert with business savvy, he brings an important voice to the nation’s debates,” said FNC’s EVP Programming Bill Shine in a statement today. Since dropping out in his bid for the Republican nomination last year, Cain has made frequent appearances on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show With Jon Stewart as a mock president detailing his decision-making process.

This is to good to be true.
F***ing brilliant. I’m so excited.
Entertainment value for days!
Jon Stewart says “Thank you God!”
What a surprise. His Presidential campaign was successful; he got everything he wanted. He’s just thekind of nut fox lloves. He’s not much saner than Dick Morris or SarahPalin. He’s gonna make more $$ by being on TV and he also inherited Neil Boortz’ WSBnationally syndicated radio show based out of Atlanta. Sometimes in my care I happen to listen for little bit (there are no liberal or moderate talk shows) and he’s as kooky as the other extremers and paranoid tea partiers
That’s a funny addition. I can go on the road with this material.
His Rep. nominee bid was a straight comedy show, how they systematically broke him down with allegation after allegation. It was funny. Macabre, but funny.
AAAHHHH-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HA-HAAA!!!!!!!
So is Fox New the welfare provider for failed political candidates? I ask this question in all seriousness so don’t start crying about the liberal media. I watched a lot of the early GOP debates and I can’t understand what Fox thinks Cain can brig to an already bloated line-up of Conservative talking head. If Fox was looking for good, Conservative political commentators there are better choices than this guy.
What better way to solidify your claim to being a legitimate news source than to hire a befuddled loser of a candidate?
It’s not that he lost that makes him laughable…it’s the notion that he was ever in the least bit credible to begin with .
From “U-Beki-beki-beki-Stan” to the “999″ fiasco, which even other conservatives eye-rolled, he was never more than a sideshow attraction, in a primary filled with clowns.
So this is basically a token hire. If Fox and the GOP expect to gain any credibility with Blacks, Latinos and Asians then why don’t they hire a credible member of the GOP that those groups of people actually respect. Say, Colin Powell, Condi Rice, JC Watts, Mia Love? Even, Michael Steele. … Herman is only shilling for his own self-interests. Like Sarah Palin. There’s nothing serious about him. And people see through that. …except all of the white male execs at Fox who are still living in the dark ages and believe that anyone who isn’t white is stupid and inferior.
On behalf of all Democrats, allow me to state that we approve.
this country is going to hell.
Sadly, Sarah Palin is going to have to help him learn about current events.
Surely I can’t be the only Fox News viewer still waiting for Herman Cain to un-suspend his campaign.
Herman Cain’s bid for the GOP nomination was just as laughable as that of people like Gov. Rick Perry, Rep. Michele Bachmann, Newt Gongrich, or even Willard Romney. His ignorance about so many national and international issues was a major embarrassment, and the idea that he would attract many African-Americans to vote Republican in the presidential election if nominated was a major insult to the intelligence of rational, thinking people. It’s not a candidate’s race, gender, or even sexual orientation. It’s their policies.
