Connor Buckley (Deception) has landed the young lead in Fox’s untitled Justin Halpern & Patrick Schumacker comedy pilot (aka I Suck At Girls), from Bill Lawrence’s Doozer and Warner Bros. TV. Based on Justin Halpern’s book, the single-camera comedy tells the story of a boy becoming a man, and a man becoming a father, in a time before coming of age was something you could Google. It centers on a father, Jack and his teen son Frankie (Buckley). Claudia Lee will play the teen daughter Rachel. Buckley is with Robert Stein Management and CESD.
Inbar Lavi (Underemployed) has been cast as a regular in Fox’s drama pilot Gang Related, from 20th TV and Imagine TV. Written by Chris Morgan and directed by Allen Hughes, Gang Related centers on Ryan Lopez (Ramon Rodriguez), a gang member sent in to infiltrate the San Francisco Police Department. Lavi, repped by TalentWorks, Justice & Ponder, and Rick Genow of Stone, Meyer, Genow, Smelkinson & Binder, will play Detective Hicks, the youngest and wildest member of the GTF.TV Editor Nellie Andreeva - tip her here.

Inbar Lavi is a true star. Glad to hear that she landed a major network pilot. She was outstanding on Underemployed.
Great news for Inbar!! She’s drop dead gorgeous.
Hart of Dixie will want to add Claudia Lee as a regular quick if they want to keep her around, she is on the show a lot.
Hopefully soon Hollywood will run out of Justin Halperin books that don’t translate at all to TV and are canceled after a few weeks. Then, we can get back to normal.
Justin Halpern (correct spelling) is actually hilarious. The first series he made got recast, and it was his first network pilot, so you can’t blame him. I love that you are making this comment after he has had really only one attempt to show his work on TV, this being his second. You have a right to your opinion Frankie, but at least give his second show a chance. His books are at least honest and funny if nothing else. And let’s not forget that not being normal is what make everything more interesting
word KDAN
’nuff negativity in the world without ur pithy opinion Frank
eat my shorts :3
I still don’t get why Claudia Lee isn’t listed as a guest star in the opening credits on “Hart of Dixie”. She has more screen time than many of the guest actors that do get opening billing, yet she is still being banished to the closing credits, which rarely ever air in readable fashion. I think she deserves better.
Maybe that’s why she’s looking elsewhere now?
