Geoff Stults, the star of the Fox/20th TV Bones spinoff The Finder, is set as the lead of another Fox/20th TV project, single-camera comedy pilot Enlisted. The casting stems from the talent deal Stults signed with 20th TV in September. Written by Cougar Town co-creator Kevin Biegel based on his relationship with his siblings, Enlisted follows three very different brothers working together in the Army. It centers on Sgt. Pete Waits (Stults) who, after a stint in Afghanistan, is stationed at a small military base in Florida to tackle the toughest job of them all — leading his dysfunctional brothers’ squad. Biegel executive produces with Mike Royce. Stults, repped by UTA and Thruline, joins previously cast Keith David. He recently recurred on the freshman Fox/20th TV comedy Ben And Kate.

Didn’t they already do a somewhat similar version of this show back in the 50s? I believe it was called “The Phil Silvers Show” [aka "You'll Never Get Rich"]….
Congrats Kev! I know you probably think you’re as good looking as this guy, since he’s playing you, but you’re not. He’s much better looking. But he’s not as good looking as your brother Ryan. As if I needed to say that.
Think the premise is great! Life in the armed forces leaves a myriad of humorous possibilities concerning 3 dysfunctional brothers in the same unit… Can’t wait to see the pilot. I can’t quite picture Rob and Ryan in the military however!
Geoff Stults?? Nahh its gonna get cancelled
