Smart scifi?
All day! This looks AMAZING!
Looks amazing. Can’t wait for it to get a distributor and a set release date.
It’s easy to see why that movie has been on the shelf for almost two years.
It was shot in mid-2011 and has been in post-production since. That’s about 18 months from shooting to finding a distributor. It’s not all that unusual for smaller films.
I personally think it looks great and it’s refreshing to see a movie about teenagers that’s not about the angst of being middle-class and ordinary.
Yes, so all the actors who are in it have time to get famous and by the time this comes out, a lot of people will have heard of them. Good idea.
Looks like a great indie.
Looks awesome. My kind of movie!
Yikes! When was this shot? Looks like some garbage low budget late night teen show from the 90s.
You do realise this is an independent film? It won’t have the budget of the likes of The Avengers. This still looks really good for an indie and more original than half the teen franchises out right now.
looks better than the teen movies I’m seeing nowadays, especially those based on books
lol Well you have issues don’t you…
Forgive her. Her brain can’t handle these kinds of movies.
Great trailer – very excited to see such a smart psychological thriller! Well done Cybill Lui and George Zakk!
You’ve made it big Deadline! The producer of the movie asked fans on twitter to cram deadline with comments. You’ve been endorsed!
Lui. ” hey @T_Philosophers fans – pls also directly comment at http://www.deadline.com/2013/02/hot-berlin-trailer-the-philosophers/ your thoughts will be heard by those who need to hear it! tk u!
Very impressive trailer. Looks original and the special effects look amazing, especially for an Indy film. Looking forward to seeing this.
Fantastic trailer! So glad to see smart sci-fi on the upswing. Can’t wait to see this.
This movie looks great! Definitely something I would watch!
The trailer looks awesome! When will it be released though?
Looks amazing. Hope to get a release date soon!
Wow, this actually looks good. Nice to see some original teen films these days and not the same made-from-a-book over and over.
Looks amazing. Eager to see.
Looks provocative, sexy and well-produced. Excited to see.
Looks great!
Very Lord of the Flies concept, so I’ll be interesting how they capitalize on that
Bonnie Wright looks amazing in this! I’ll definitely see it, been waiting for this to come out.
Great job! Woohoo!
Interestiiiiiiiiing. I want to see more!
This looks really good for an indie. Hope it gets a USA release date.
This movie looks very intriguing! A very unique idea, I hope it comes to the states quickly enough!
I’m so very excited for this! What a great cast and it’s very fascinating, I really want to see what happens. Hope for a wide release date soon!
Am I understanding this correctly–all the stakes, danger, etc are hypothetical?
Yes, but as the students run through each scenario things are revealed about themselves and their relationships with each other. At least that’s the impression I got from other sources.
This looks incredible! Indie worthy storytelling with big studio effects, what a wonderful combination. One of my favorites in fact. Can’t wait to see it.
This looks like it could be a great film. I hope I get the chance to see it eventually. So excited!
Is this a book? It feels like a novel. Call me skeptical but I have a hard time believing that this is an original screenplay. So rare to have something good and original out of Hollywood these day. Anyway, count me in, I will go see this without hesitation.
Read this years ago – It was a great screenplay – but very novelistic. I hope the quality translates well to the screen.
