  • Writing about misogyny and being a misogynist are actually not the same thing. I saw an early screening of this film and it’s excellent with terrific performances from all, and a standout one from Zoe Kazan. I’m sure all those actresses were happy to have big, fat, juicy and dimensional roles they could sink their teeth into, female roles a lot more complex than the majority of those in mainstream movies & TV.

    • said someone that must be either the director or the director’s boyfriend. I too saw and early screening and every woman in this film should have held out for better.

• The scene in this clip doesn’t bode well. The situation and the dialogue are absolutely predictable, first-draft stuff. I felt bad for the actors.
