Lost alum Jorge Garcia has been cast opposite Charlie Cox in the CBS drama pilot The Ordained, executive produced by Frank Marshall. Directed by RJ Cutler from a script by Lisa Takeuchi Cullen, The Ordained centers on Tom Reilly (Cox), the son of a Kennedy-esque family who leaves the priesthood and becomes a lawyer at a top New York firm to prevent his politician sister from being assassinated. Garcia will play Carlos, the law firm’s staff investigator. Nestor Serrano co-stars. Garcia has been recurring on ABC’s Once Upon A Time.
Joe Lo Truglio (Wreck-It Ralph, Free Agents) has landed the last series regular in the Andy Samberg-starring Fox comedy pilot, from Mike Schur, Dan Goor, Universal TV and 3 Arts. Phil Lord and Chris Miller are directing the single-camera pilot, which revolves around a diverse group of detectives in a precinct at the very edge of New York City. Truglio, repped by UTA, manager Andy Corren and and attorney David Matlof, will play Charles, a recently divorced veteran detective who looks up to the younger Jake (Samberg). The cast of the pilot also includes Terry Crews, Andre Braugher, Melissa Fumera, Stephanie Beatriz and Chelsea Peretti.

Congrats to two great actors, each of whom turned in a hilarious appearance on HIMYM.
Agreed. Jorge Garcia’s acting on “Lost” has been some of the best that, as far as I’ve ever seen, has ever been on television no matter how much he weighs. Joe Lo Truglio makes everything funnier. He just knows how to do it instinctively.
Big fan of Jorge, and Joe Lo Truglio is the best!!!
So now 4 members of The State have signed on for pilots this year. That is awesome.
Joe Lotruglio is one of the most talented guys out there. And maybe the nicest guy I ever met. He’s the real deal. And I think he still has my bowling shirt that he borrowed in 1991.
Hey Robert-He still has the tennis shoes that I lent him ’95. It’s quite possible that his entire wardrobe has been “borrowed.”
He is, however, a truly talented guy!
Did a short film with jorge 15 yrs ago. Knew he was going places. Congrats. Looking forward to seeing him on the small screen again
