UPDATE 3:25 PM: Prospect Park has announced that Eden Riegel will reprise her Emmy-winning role as Bianca Montgomery as a cameo guest arc in the online revival of the ABC daytime drama All My Children.
PREVIOUS: Prospect Park‘s The Online Network announced today that Julia Barr will reprise her role as Brooke English in the online revival of the
cancelled ABC daytime drama, the character for which she earned two Daytime Emmy Awards for Best Supporting Actress. She joins previously announced cast members Darnell Williams (Jesse Hubbard), Debbi Morgan (Dr. Angela Hubbard), Vincent Irizarry (Dr. David Hayward), Lindsay Hartley (Cara Martin), Jordi Vilasuso (Griffin Castillo), Jill Larson (Opal Cortlandt), Thorsten Kaye (Zach Slater). Additional casting details will be announced in the coming weeks. Prospect Park announced earlier this year that new 30-minute episodes of All My Children and One Life To Live will be launched each weekday and will be available on Hulu and iTunes beginning this Spring.

Brooke English is one of the worst characters on AMC. Typically fast forward when she is on.
Her best role was in the middle of the Tad/Dixie fiasco twenty years ago. The ectopic pregnancy angle was good. And she was always a solid foil for Adam Chandler.
Fantastic actress and character! LOVED that her storylines involving Tad, Dixie, and Adam.
I have to disagree. Brooke English is one of my favourite All My Children characters. I hope she gets tons of screen time. I may even watch her scenes twice!
I am so excited about Julia Barr and Eden Riegel returning to AMC. I can’t wait to see my “friends” again. This really is amazing news. Just can’t wait to hear that Susan Lucci, Alicia Minshew, Cameron Mathison, Rebecca Budig and Michael E. Knight are coming back too
Michael Knight is coming back…that new story was a few weeks ago. Haven’t heard on others though. I was surprised Thorsten is coming back!….especially will still no word on KENDAL….Sarah Michelle Gellar could be Kendal again…except she probably would never do internet show…lol Dying for Susan to say YES! But JR shot at almost the entire cast in the finale….and Jacob Young is on Bold & Beautiful, with new plans to leave as far as I have seen. So this should be interesting…with what they do for the premier and all that happened in the ABC finale. Maybe if Susan refuses, they’ll kill her off from that shoot out. *sigh* BOOOOoooooo!!!!
SMG is doing a primetimetime pilot with Robin Williams . Don’t expect her back in Pine Valley anytime soon.
The show is to be set 5 years from when it left off. Susan Lucci is to be on one episode for the immediate future. J. R. will be recast as the last portrayer is working elsewhere. J. R. will be in a coma when the show returns, which means he likely shot himself.

Totally agree with you jams. I have missed Brooke/Julia every day, since she left. There is just someting about her… thats FAMILY (and hopefully she will finally get some good story-lines). Our beloved AMC actors dont have to be there every day by any means… even if we just see them a few times a month, (which means they can still be in retirement)… but just knowing they are still WITH US! NOW wouldnt it be smashing if DIMITRI/Michael Nader would come back!!!

Great news on both actresses. Everyone needs to chill out about watching these shows on your TV. I will be watching AMC on my TV because I have a blue ray player that has Hulu on it. It was not that expensive either so as long as you have wifi and Hulu on your blue ray player you CAN watch AMC and OLTL on your TV

You’re only losing about 6-8 minutes, in reality. That “hour” was 35-36 minutes of show with a lot of commercials. You’ll either see way fewer commercials or none at all (depending on the platform) so it will be very similar.
I am thrilled that Julia Barr will be in Pine Valley. Not only because she is a great actress and I love her character, but because she goes so far back in AMC’s history. There are so many story lines that could be developed with her that will keep the continuity with P.V. history. I want the old characters and old story lines to be redeveloped. There is a TON of material to work with! I know there will have to be new characters and young actors, but let them all have a connection to an old character, and partly resurrect some of the history of the show.

I am so happy to hear of this news. I really miss these two shows, What is the website that it will be on. I am so thrilled, I have become an addict of General Hospital now just to feel like I am still connected to OLTL. But it will be so great to have a touch of AMC and OLTL.

What does cameo arc mean? Typically a cameo is a brief appearance. What is the point of dropping Minx if Eden is just making a guest appearance?
I wonder if Minx will return after this and after Sarah gives birth?
