Lily Rabe To Return For Season 3 Of ‘American Horror Story’

• Been waiting for this news since they announced the other returning cast members. Seems like a real no-brainer. She was by far the best thing about Season 2 (no disrespect to the outstanding Jessica Lange), a real revelation. The last three or four episodes were notably lacking without her. I wouldn’t be surprised if she gets an Emmy nomination for this season.

  • absolutely agree, tho Lange was as stellar if not better than Season 1.
    don’t understand those who hate this show – its transcendent bedlam depravity
    And Rabe was hands down this season’s star in a jaw dropping amazing cast
    actually, i hope Lange, Rabe, Peters and Paulson all get Emmy nods
    plus the writing staff, especially whoever wrote the final episode…just genius.
    please please please AHS team, don’t drop the ball on Season 3 or ever on this series…
    it has only enhanced and solidified this otherwise golden age of television

• Jessica Chastain, Emily Blunt , Rooney Mara, and Anne Hathaway watch your backs because Lily Rabe is in town. She is the real deal, and her critically-acclaimed stage work is extraordinary. Rabe deserves a big time film career.

  • she might be in the same acting league of those you mention but not on the same level in the looks department. She is attractive yet but cant hold a candle in comparison to Chastain, Blunt, Mara or Hathaway when it comes to beauty.

    • I wouldn’t call Meryl Streep beautiful either.But she is in the same league with actresses such as Jessica Lange.

      Your arguement is invalid.She deserves a big film career despite her looks(and in my opinion she is unconventionally beautifull)

• Season 3 is going to be about politics and congress. Just TOO MANY hints towards government/Washginton, D.C. to dismiss.

  1) “Congress” vinyl spinning. (Ryan Murphy stated you needed to be quick to “SEE” the hint in this episode)

  2) Loooooong speech about government tax payers swindling the poor by The Angel of Death’s Mob character. (Ryan Murphy said the hint in this episode would be LONG and more noticeable). Plus–why would such an arbitrary and long-ass speech be recited by a character who’s not even important in the episode?

  3) “World Leaders, Stars, Disgraced Politicians” April (the interviewer) in Madness Ends puts significant emphasis on “Disgraced Politicians”. We also know from Ryan Murphy that Season 3 will have more “glamour” in it, so stars (and even world leaders) isn’t a far stretch from the previous, and next, hint.

  4) “Kennedy Center”. April also makes multiple mentions to the “Kennedy Center”…a performing arts center located in WASHINGTON, D.C.

  There are some more that I can’t think of.

  But as of now, and knowing that Season 3 might deal with MULTIPLE types of horror (a la Asylum’s devil, aliens, serial killer, insanity, real-life horrors, etc.),…
