Lindsay Sloane (Horrible Bosses) is set as a lead opposite Sean Hayes in NBC’s untitled Sean Hayes/Victor Fresco multi-camera comedy pilot. Written by Fresco and directed by James Burrows, the comedy, from Universal TV and Hazy Mills, centers on Sean (Hayes), who must figure out how to parent his 14-year-old daughter (Samantha Isler), who just moved in, while navigating a temperamental new boss (Thomas Lennon) at work. Sloane, repped by Gersh, will play Liz, Sean’s long-time loyal friend with whom he also works. Liz is a former therapist who quit because she had too many opinions and couldn’t listen to people talk about their problems without telling them what to do.
British actor Colin Salmon and Robbie Kay have joined the cast of Bravo‘s hourlong pilot Rita. Written by Krista Vernoff and directed by Miguel Arteta, Rita is a family drama that follows Rita (Anna Gunn), an acerbic, outspoken private-school teacher who struggles to raise her three teenage children while dealing with the inane bureaucracy and overprotective parents at her school. Salmon, repped by Lighthouse Entertainment and UK’s Curtis Brown Group, will play Colin Paige, the aristocratic emotionally guarded British teacher who is the head of the history department at the school. Kay, repped by Paradigm and Affirmative, will play Rita’s gay son. Salmon, probably best known for his roles in the James Bond and Resident Evil movie franchises, has been recurring on the CW’s breakout The Arrow as Walter Steele. Kay will next be seen in Ways To Live Forever.

One of these days the fantastic Lindsay Sloane is going to be a huge star on a massive hit show. Hope this is the one!!
Colin Salmon is so fantastic and glad American films and quality cable television see that he will gain a big US presence.
I first watched him with Helen Mirren is Prime Suspect and said this guy is a movie star.
Big win for this pilot in getting Lindsay! A total star and a brilliant comedienne. Hope this one goes.
I’ve always liked Sloane since The WB sitcom “Grosse Pointe”, which was unusually good for The WB. I hope she does well with this.
LIndsay is the best. Really happy for her.
Colin is amazing. Such a fine actor. Glad to see him working.
Every time I see Lindsey she looks less and less like her old self. Whatever happened to that funny, cute Jewish girl who so charmed us way back when? She looks completely generic now.
Robbie Kay is a find. He carries “Ways To Live Forever” and was great in “Made in Dagenham” and the last Pirates film. He’s going to have a very long career!
Lindsay’s cuteness doesn’t get in the way of her hotness. And that’s really special to me.
I agree—let’s hope we see her for a long time on the Tv set.
Sorry Hayes/Fresco Pilot, but Lindsay Sloane is a pilot killer. There’s a reason she’s attached to a pilot every year, yet not starring in a series. She has zero comedic ability(see her HIMYM episode).
Whoa Morbs! I’d almost forgotten about that show! Good call. Sex bomb, sex bomb…
I hear RITA was one of the best wriitten pilots.
Great cast.
