Michael Ealy is set as one of the two leads of Fox‘s untitled Bad Robot/J.H. Wyman drama pilot (formerly Inhuman). The action-packed buddy cop show is set in the near future when all LAPD officers are partnered with highly evolved human-like androids. It centers on one such pairing, cop John Kennex and his android partner Dorian (Ealy), who understands humanity more than John. Warner Bros. TV is producing. Ealy, repped by Gersh and Epidemic Pictures, starred in another two-lead drama, USA’s Common Law. He recently wrapped Screen Gems’ About Last Night and, after the Fox pilot, will segue into filming the sequel to hit Think Like A Man, also for Screen Gems.

Michael Ealy is ridiculously good looking. I’ll watch anything he is in. Twice.
Maybe my least favorite pilot script this season… and there are some real wang-chungers out there.
Jon Bernthal should be other lead.
New Abrams/Wyman FOX cop show must be like Abrams/Nolan POI – with procedural structure and less arcs. POI is best scripted and acted drama on broadcast TV. If they can move some of the writers and Greg Plageman to help Wyman the same way they do with Nolan will be perfect. Only change can be younger cast and hot female lead for better 18-34 demo – its FOX, not CBS.
Great news.
Did anyone see Common Law?
Michael Ealy is far from exciting.
He did not break out if the supporting role in Think Like A Man. The other guys did.
