Bonni Allen, longtime talent representative, casting director and producer, died February 20 after battling cancer. She
was 52. Allen represented a number of film, television and Broadway actors over the years including Nancy Opel and Teresa Parente. She turned to casting directing full-time after her client Jason Alexander was cast as George Costanza in the hit TV sitcom Seinfeld. She later returned to working as a personal manager partnering with Marrissa O’Leary to form allen + o’leary management, where her clients included Lauralee Bell, Greg Roman, Jonathan Fraser, and Nick Baillie.

What a terrible loss. RIP
Damn, only 52 years old! Cancer is a real bitch! The very best to her family & loved ones.
God bless & may she rest in peace.
Bonni represented me for a short period of time. She was a spitfire. She could be tough, for sure, but I admired her grit and guts. She was a force of nature unlike anyone I have ever met. I wish Marrissa, her longtime business partner and friend, all the best during this difficult time.
I am shocked and saddened by this news. Bonni and I shared many good times together over the years. She will be missed. My prayers go out to her family and friends. RIP my friend
Bonnie Allen was my first agent. We had a great relationship and I am in complete shock to know that she is gone. What a great spicy wonderful woman. RIP Ms. Allen. My memories of my time with you will never die.
Too soon.
Nobody enjoys reading any obits at all – but when one reads one like this, you feel terribly sad. 52 is quite young these days. Great to see her terrific credentials, which proves that she was a hard worker and cared about what she did, and the respective outcomes !!! Condolences to the entire remaining family.
Bonni was my first love. She was smart, funny, tough, sarcastic as hell, but had a great heart and incredible capacity to love. The world has lost an amazing person…..Peter Pan has lost his biggest fan.
Bonni and I enjoyed several years as friends. I’ll never forget her. Had I known she was in La, I would have visited her. I feel sorry I didn’t keep in touch. She was full of fun and was always willing to do things most everyone else would be afraid to do. We have lost a bit of unending happiness and joy.
BONNI AND I GO BACK TO TENNIS COURT WHERE SHE GREW UP.
I CAN ONLY REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES SPENT WITH HER BECAUSE
THERE WEREN’T ANY BAD TIMES. CONDOLENCES TO HER FAMILY
