EXCLUSIVE: Former Real Housewives Of New Jersey star Dina Manzo is returning to the docu-reality genre with a new series project chronicling her life. Manzo has signed a development deal with Al Roker‘s Al Roker Entertainment for the project, which “will document Dina’s new chapter.” Manzo recently announced her split from Tommy Manzo, her husband of seven years. The couple’s lavish 2005 wedding was documented on VH1′s My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding. “This collaboration will be an opportunity for Dina’s fans to go behind the scenes into her world — which is different than most people would expect,” Roker said. Added Manzo, “I think viewers will be surprised at the type of show this will be.”
Manzo appeared on Bravo’s hit Real Housewives Of New Jersey for the first season and a half. She currently toplines HGTV’s Dina’s Party. Al Roker Entertainment’s series credits include The Weather Channel’s Coast Guard Alaska and episodes of HGTV’s Celebrity Holiday Homes.

You know, watching RHWONJ I saw her on one episode and thought Dina was a cute little girl with class. I just watched the wedding video and, well, I had to change my mind. WOW. Opulance I think is the appropriate word. Over a million for a wedding? Sorry, Dina, but people are dying and hungry in this world, and for you to cry over flowers and a song and….ughhh, I just can’t. Count me out for watching the show.
I Like Dina and wish her success. I hope she re-units with Carolyn and Chris (her siblings) if she has not done so already.
She married him for his money and here in Jersey we all knew it. She is a fame seeker just like all the rest. Got what she wanted and moved on. Tommy is a good person, family and business first. He married her because he felt sorry for her and his fame seeking brother and sister-in-law were in on the scheme!

Dina is a role model, independent and a strong well rounded women mom and a great designer. She should have her own housewares company I’d buy it 4 sure. Rock on beautiful lady

If they want a REAL show on a struggling divorcee, I personally would be very glad to show the world how it truely is to go from housewife/mother to your husband’s affair with a bimbo to struggling to make it on my own and help children with college – going through bankruptcy, dating woos at almost 50, the IRS after you, my car is breaking down, barely able to live paycheck to paycheck – I’m sorry those women have no clue what it’s like to be truely broke, down and out and struggle to make it in life. But I do like Dina!
I also liked Dina, but stop short of calling her a role model.
Dina is self-absorbed and has no room in her life for anyone but herself and occasionally her daughter. The fact that she let Theresa come between her and Caroline is wrong. She left the show because all the attention was just too much for her, but apparently what she was looking for was her OWN show. You can take this show and shove it.

I have always liked Dina. I will tune in with hopes she has reunited with her Family. I miss the Manzo clan and hope she has come to realize her sisters & brothers are a major part of her life and have back. No matter what!
I love Dina! She has good Karma! She is hardworking , good natured and upbeat! I met her once in The Garden State PlZa in Nieman Marcus with my daughter . She was very sweet to us!
