At least Beyoncé didn’t lip-sync for “Love on Top” or “Crazy In Love” or “Halo” or with Destiny’s Child for “Bootylicious” and “Independent Woman” or “Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)”. But I was underwhelmed. You? Just not enough whiz, bang, wow factor surrounding such talent compared to the shows put on for Prince, Madonna, and U2. She din’t kilt it. Her performance was flat and it lacked a knockout punch. She can only tilt her head and throw her hair so many times. Prince remains the Superbowl halftime champion. Beyonce doesn’t have the range to carry a hyped up halftime show. And the Destiny’s Child ‘surprise’ was old news by the time game day came around. Beyonce needs to stick to crowds who will cheer her no matter what she does. She’s a little too impressed with herself to win over fat people in plus-sized football jersies.

Sorry, but Beyonce really was boring and so NOT entertaining. Big deal, she proves she doesn’t need to lip sync for this one but She can’t hold a candle to Michael Jackson, Madonna, & Prince. Quite frankly I’m sick of seeing her because she does the same old reprocessed crap for her performances & will never be able to entertain as well as Prince/Madonna/Michael.

Most boring performance ever (ever). Flat and uninspiring. I kept hoping Jay Z would come out and save her but he didn’t. And did anyone else notice the volume on Kelly and Michelle’s mics was really low. This performance was by Beyonce for Beyonce.
B isn’t a great vocal talent. She just isn’t. But she is widely regarded to be beautiful (not my cup of tea, but I bow to overwhelming public opinion), and she is very charismatic. But this wasn’t a great show. It was too scattered. Not blaming her, but whoever produced this did not do a good job.

You know I am not and never will be a Springsteen fan. Do not like rock,rap, or country, nor do I particularly think skinny legs are attractive on men or women. Just because her type of music or her body is not your cup of tea does not give you the right to insult her. That is just childish. I think the “reunion” was way underdone and Beyonce has a strong voice and she gave a glitzy show, which is what the Superbowl is all about.
Clearly you are unaware of how difficult it is to perform in that large of a venue. I thought it was a wonderful mix of her singing and dancing and she looked beautiful and gave it a hundred percent.

Yes, it IS very difficult to perform at something like the Superbowl, which is why it should be reserved for real talent, not glorified underwear models that happen to have a nice voice.

We started watching and my husband changed the station and came back when the second half began. Half-time did not “hold” us. I guess we are just “old school”. I believe you are right, was targeted for the young viewers. Bruce Springsteen was one of my favorites, as was MJ.
