Suze Orman and ICM Partners are heading into the digital arena together. The finance expert is expanding her relationship with ICM and will launch a production company developing scripted and non-scripted entertainment projects. The agency previously repped the bestselling author’s literary interests but will now additionally represent Orman across her award-winning television, radio, and QVC product line and her Suze Orman Enterprises. Orman’s slate includes a college accredited Personal Finance Course launching this spring, a series of Financial Literacy PSAs she’s producing to debut in the Phillippines, and her Suze Orman Show on CNBC, which is now in its 12th year on air.


Ugh. Any credibility she had with “regular folk” is gone. For years one of her most-spouted pieces of advice was to NEVER buy a new car. (buy pre-owned and let someone else take the depreciation, etc.)
So now she’s doing national commercials for Acura, which oddly don’t mention a pre-owned option. Suzi’s always been a lightweight who for some unknown reason was able connect with people who need simple advice. That advice rarely rises above “Girlfriend, you’re spending more than you’re taking in. Stop that!”. But now, she’s a complete sell-out.

Suze did the Acura endorsement because the deal was that you would buy the car at ZERO percent. That’s a smart money move if you ask me. It outweighs the initial depreciation cost.
