Season three of AHS will be be a romance set in modern times, with Farmiga expected to play a key part in the romantic storyline. “I missed her this season,” AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy said about Farmiga to EW last month. “There wasn’t really a role for her… So I thought well ‘I want Taissa to be one of the leads next year’.” On the feature side, Farmiga, repped by ICM Partners and Authentic, is starring alongside Emma Watson in the upcoming Sofia Coppola drama The Bling Ring and recently wrapped production on Mindscape.

SUPER DUPER excited about this being ‘official’ now! Taissa is my favourite!
I agree – great news! I hope there’s a role for Zachary Quinto.
I think as long as ahs is running there will be a role for Lange and Quinto. I’m so glad this young talent returns, dare say she’s even better at the acting than Peters. Yes, I went there, and it’s true. He’s also not a typical heartthrob, to me he looks like Micheal Cera.
Lovely news !!….Now,what we need is Frances Conroy in a BIG role and I’ll be in Heaven.
SO AWESOME! really missed her this season. Denis O’Hare was also great in season 1. please bring him back!
