• I would really love a series about Mary of Scotland but NOT on the CW. On there it would turn into just another really bad soap opera.

• I’ve known Stephanie for years and have worked with her on a number of shows. If she is involved then, at the very least, it’s going to be a high quality show. The CW is incredibly lucky to have her.

• OH NO! This needs to skew older. If they made the characters in their 20′s it would be more interesting and they can get racier. I would be really surprised if this got picked up. Too bad.

• I’m not familiar with the actress but I would love to see where this goes. Mary Queen of Scots is a fascinating character. I think it would be better on a different network, but if they do it right it could be great.

  • @Nikki You’re correct about the flaming red hair but dead wrong about the Scottish accent. Mary may have been Queen of Scots, but she grew up in France and spoke with a thick French accent throughout her life.

    That said, this casting is terrible. This material is totally wrong for the CW. Trying to shove it into a CW mold is embarrassing.

• @Jackie Dee as you may have noted I did not say ‘Australian Power house’. I am happy to give credit to any actor be it American, Chinese, Indian, British and the list goes on, as a ‘Power House’ because in that respect there are many. So when your client gets 6 offers to test (three being straight offers) you come talk to me until then I will excuse myself from your bitter party of one.
