I love Danny Boyle, but a premise that includes “fine art auctioneer,” “hypnotherapist,” and “Goya painting” doesn’t exactly sound like it’s going to pack the house at my local AMC.
Like a Goya painting, looks alternately pretty and gruesome though.
How about a movie premised on a guy who gets trapped between two rocks and has to cut his arm off? Or a bollywoodesque flick about an Indian kid who becomes a contestant on a game show?
Comparatively, this premise doesn’t sounds all too esoteric.
Won’t bother seeing, but thanks for the shot of whoever stunted Rosario Dawson’s ass.
Oh, come on: a director that inventive, a cast that talented and a premise so unusual deserves our popcorn dollars. In a sea of derivative sequels and remakes, Boyle knows how to build an ark.
I’m in, anyone who can’t see that Boyle is a filmmaker and entertainer par excellence should really go and watch Die Hard 5 or something instead.
This looks awesome. Can’t wait! Love that Danny Boyle keeps doing something different. LOVE Rosario Dawson!!!!!
This trailer would have been great without the part where Vincent’s character says ‘she has been using you from the start’…too much information.
James McAvoy (current appearing in “Macbeth” in the West End–to rave patron reviews) is reason enough to get me to my local theatre. Danny Boyle and the rest of the cast are a plus.
Love everybody associated with this…so why do I hate the trailer? The general public should be going…wow, a new Danny Boyle picture…but they don’t. Have you ever noticed that?
