Blake Lee (Parks & Recreation), Andrew Santino and Mercedes Masohn have landed lead roles in ABC‘s single-camera comedy pilot Mixology, from feature 
writers Jon Lucas and Scott Moore (The Hangover), ABC Studios and Ryan Seacrest Prods. They join previously cast Kate Simses. Set in the world of a sexy Manhattan bar, the high-concept Mixology chronicles the exploits of singles, five guys and five girls, in search of love — all over the course of one night. Lee, repped by UTA and Management 360, will play Tom, a nice-guy, clean cut accountant recently dumped by his long-time girlfriend. Santino, repped by CAA and Evan Silverberg, plays Bruce, Tom’s brutally honest best friend from college. Masohn plays Maya, a gorgeous ballbuster, formerly a jock and currently a sports attorney. This marks Masohn’s return to ABC where she co-starred on 666 Park Avenue this season. She is with Greene & Assoc. and Luber/Roklin.

Isn’t Mercedes Latina? If so, it’s not an all white cast.
Mercedes is an ethnic mix, but most certainly not just white. On Twitter she’s said she’s a mix of so many different nationalities that she just calls herself a “mutt” (her words).

This script was awful. This cast looks awful, and they had to bring in Ryan Seacrest’s production company at the last minute? Yikes. I feel bad for these people.

Can someone who’s read this script explain the ‘all in the course of one night’ concept? Does this mean different people will be at the bar each week, or the same group of people go each week and we follow what happens to them there (which sounds incredibly boring), or does the whole series take place in one night (which sounds impossible) or..?? I’m confused.
From what I understood, the entire season takes place over the course of one night (a la 24). And each season will take place over the course of another night.
