There’s going to be even more reality on reality network truTV. The network said today it has ordered more episodes of Hardcore Pawn: Chicago and Impractical Jokers. That makes eight more episodes of the hit freshman spinoff Hardcore Pawn: Chicago and 13 more second-season episodes of Impractical Jokers. Based on the long-running Hardcore Pawn, Hardcore Pawn: Chicago debuted to the highest-rated series premiere in truTV’s history on New Year’s Day. Averaging 2.1 million viewers, the show hits its midseason finale February 26. It is produced by Bischoff-Hervey Entertainment with Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey and Richard Calderon serving as executive producers. The public gags- and antics-based Jokers is averaging about 1.8 million viewers this season. It is produced by NorthSouth Prods with Charlie DeBevoise and Mark Hickman executive producers.

Impractical Jokers might be the funniest show on TV. Huge laughs, more in every episode than a whole season of any sitcom out there. But Hardcore Pawn is a total ripoff of the vastly superior Pawn Stars on The History Channel. Plus, I don’t believe a second of Hardcore Pawn–it has that faux/scripted stench that all of truTV’s “reality” shows throw off.

Hardcore Pawn: Chicago is AWFUL. The crap people bring in there is worthless. I don’t want to watch a show about a “strip mall” pawn shop run by losers. You could fit the entire Hardcore Pawn: Chicago store in Les’s office.

I love Hardcore Pawn Chicago….never watch the Detroit one. It was a little to rough for me. Saw the ad for Chicago so being from Chicago it sparked my interest and now I’m a big fan! Love the Cohen Clan!!!!! More episodes please!!!
Scott just does not appreciate humor. These guys are hilarious and alot funny than Kenny vs Spenny ever was. All of their shows were staged. I hope they bring back another season of impractical jokers. This IS the funniest show on TV and SCOTT can go back to watching Spongebob.

I’m 65 years old and I absolutely love the “jokers”. I was happy to see they are coming back. I love them because they are just, plain FUNNY. No swearing no totally dirty crap – just funny. This world could use a little more laughter, don’t ya’ think?
