In one of the longest journeys to the schedule, TV Land today announced that Forever Young, its half-hour unscripted series from Ashton Kutcher‘s production company, will premiere on April 3 with back-to-back episodes. That is almost three years after the network picked up the series with a six-episode order in 2010. Produced by Kutcher and Jason Goldberg’s Katalyst and Eyeworks USA, headed by JD Roth and Todd A. Nelson, Forever Young chronicles what happens when five “juniors” under the age of 30 and five “seniors” over age 70 live together in the same house.

Terrible and predictable concept for a show. I am usually optimistic, but this is a clear fail.
Agreed. Sounds absolutely dreadful. Old people hanging out with younger people. I’ll watch Betty White’s show, at least I’ll get a good laugh. This whole idea stinks to high heaven.
April Fools?
This is a perfect project for 2010.
Definite fail. TV Land is supposed to be about wholesome, quality sitcoms…not “Jersey Shore meets Leisure World.”
If we wanted reality TV, we’d be watching those other channels that cater to the dregs who feel better about themselves by watching the lowest forms of life on reality TV shows.
I hope TV Land reconsiders this disastrous move before subjecting us to this lowbrow trash.
who is the group singing above the law in the forever young new series
The previous comments are shocking because everyone i know is really excited about this show! We can hardly wait to see it! It has potential to actually teach some good lessons as well as make us laugh.
This is a true Hit!! Not your typical reality show but a great interaction of youth and seniors. So many nay sayers out there that just don’t get it. Bravo TV Land!! Excellent work getting this fresh insight to how different we are and so much alike.
I’ve never seen Survivor, The Kardashians, Jersey SHore or most reality TV. My favorite reality TV show is Cops……ro should I say was? This show is definitly threatening to take over as my #1 reality show,
All you naysayers, give this show a chance. It WILL open your eyes. The only bummer is ONLY 6 EPISODES??????
When I first saw the promos for this show, I laughed and said, how ridiculous, and had no intention of watching it. Well, I watched the first episode, and LOVED every single second of it, and have watched and enjoyed every episode since. The show truly makes me laugh and cry, and it does indeed bridge the generation gap. Next week is the final episode of the season, and this is one show that I will truly miss, and hope that it returns again!!!!
when I first saw the commercials for the show I thought it was a joke. watch the first episode absolutely hooked!!! DOUBLE A IS THE MAN!!! II honestly hope TV Land re-news the show bring it back!!! if you haven’t watched any of the episodes are given the show an HONEST shot then you have no idea what you’re missing!!!!
