    Han dies in TOKYO DRIFT which takes place chronologically after FAST & FURIOUS, FAST FIVE and FAST & FURIOUS 6.

    Letty is never shown dead in FAST & FURIOUS, all you see is Dom piecing together how he thought the crash happened.

    • Not to be a massive nerd– butyou’re saying Tokyo drift (movie #3) takes place AFTER 4, 5, and 6?

      So the order of these films is 1,2,4, 5, 6, 3?

      That’s silly tortured logic– as Vin is noticeably older in 6 than his cameo in 3, but whatever. Turn off brain, watch car blow up!

      • You do understand the concept of movies being released in non-chronological order, don’t you? A movie that is made after a movie can actually take place before it.

        As for an actor looking older, so what? That’s just something you look past. Do you watch TV? Lots of shows have flashbacks. Would you have a problem if a show had a flashback in the 6th season that took place a decade in the past, but the actor looked a decade older than the character he was portraying in said flashback? No, you wouldn’t.

        Vin Diesel was barely in 10 seconds of Tokyo Drift. Who gives a crap if it was filmed 8 years ago. Suspend your disbelief.

  • I’m assuming you haven’t actually watched the movies, or else you’d know those characters weren’t actually dead. Dom was told Letty was dead in Fast & Furious, but we didn’t actually see her die onscreen. She actually didn’t die and is now hooked up with a group of thieves/killers.

    Han died in the third film, Tokyo Drift, but anyone who is following the movies knows Tokyo Drift takes place after these movies. That’s how Han is still alive. They even made a reference to it at the end of Fast Five. Han is driving with Gisele and she says “what about Tokyo?” and he says, “we’ll get there…eventually”.

• These are no longer movies they are now assembly line consumer products they have transcended movies into something else entirely, but this is what you get with a studio that doesn’t know what to make all they can do are sequels and remakes.

• I really don’t understand the hatred toward these movies. Fast Five was the most flat out fun I had at the movies last year. Justin Lin – you are an action shooting genius. Please take over more tired, worn out film franchises (Die Hard, Alien, Terminator). At least I can understand what’s happening when he shoots action instead of – shakey cam, 2 second cut, shakey cam, 2 second cut, shakey cam – ad nauseum.
