This has gotta sting for NBC. Univision is touting its fourth-place finish ahead of NBC in the February sweeps with a new ad you can watch below. It’s the first time the Spanish-language network has beaten NBC and the first time it has come in fourth place in an in-season sweep. Univision previously came in ahead of CBS in July of 2010 and 2012. NBC’s fifth place for February is quite a reversal of fortune for the Peacock network, which only a couple months ago won its first November sweeps since 2003.

I havent turned on NBC since Michael Scott left. Such a horrid network.
Just wait NBC now has John Stamos!!!
Way to go Univision. This gringo says, keep telling the truth and you will beat the uber left media every time. The truth sells and they lie.
I watched the 2012 Summer Olympics on NBC. And I watched a couple Sunday Night Football games.
But otherwise it has been years since I’ve watched anything else on that network. Never watch any news or entertainment programming — it’s all propaganda anyway.
Of course the other networks are not great either — they just don’t suck as bad.
SNL hasn’t been able to hold a candle to Sabado Gigante since the original cast left. NBC — the No Body Cares network.
They shouldn’t pick on NBC.
(For the same reason you don’t “boo” at the Special Olympics.)
And where exactly did the even dumber MSNBC come in on the ratings chart? Did they talk to their viewer?
Way to go Univision – i hope NBC goes to hell. They are the definition of “state run” media – the mouth piece of the DNC
Hey Univision, maybe you could do the sane thing the english networks do. Hit the sap button, and hear your broadcasts in english. Should be a two way street, like the other networks are doing..
Good going Univision, you need an English language division for programing. Bet it would sell well, we are all tired of the alphabet channels and the crap they broadcast…
Good. Though I don’t speak Spanish, I’d much rather watch Univision than NBC any day of the week. At least their news anchors have the balls to ask Obama the tough questions no one else seems to.
Americans are so stupid. Today it’s our TV networks, and our politicians are already scrambling to cater to Latino voters… they already cram their children into our schools and abuse our healthcare system. We needed to secure our borders DECADES ago – granting asylum to invaders is not the way a country should be run.
Not all Latinos who are here have “hopped a border” to get here. I was born in the USA and born legal. My family members came here in the early 40′s and worked hard. To do anything else other than strive to be successful would be disrespectful.
I’m Latino and I’m sure that my family and I have contributed more in taxes to this government than you ever have.
Also, none of us have ever been on any form of assistance (hand outs) from the government. We went to school. We worked. We work hard. We paid/pay taxes and paid/pay into a Social Security system that may not be there when I get older.
People abuse, but lets not make assumptions. There are a lot more Latinos here who you Republicans can actually win over if you opened your closed minds and stopped making racist generalizations.
I see a lot of poor, government assisted non-minorities in the middle of America, but I don’t make generalizations.
Why would anyone watch television anymore?
Spot on, Harlowe. We used to watch TV when it was entertaining and informative. It had a purpose. But now its changed to nothing short of a government-loving propaganda vehicle. And television news, particularly NBC/MSNBC, is literally a lying slave of the leftist government… relying on doctored videos, photoshopped images, misquotes in the extreme and outright “manufactured news” which assists the current president with whom they share a slobbering love affair.
Good for you! The US is getting tired(Some of us REALLY TIRED) of the bullshit NBC/MSNBC/CNN try to call journalism. I was especially drawn to your show about the Obama Gun-Running Scam, Fast and Furious, that was so on point. Keep up the good work.
The nets can’t offer programming that mostly appeals to the 50+ viewer and be surprised by this development. Today it’s NBC…tomorrow it will be one of the others…if you think the nets are aware and are doing something about it, just look at the newest slate of pilots…more more of the same…Univision will keep mining young viewers and win…it’s simple arithmetic
I love it. NBC and MSNBC are going down in flames… when you have ultra liberals like Ed Schulz and Rachel Maddow spewing thier agenda you get ratings which are laughable.
Shut up. That has nothing to do with NBC’s failure. Stop blaming the news, go away, and stop harassing liberals.
NBC and MCNBC are SOOOO far left, they deserve their fate—utter failure. I applaud their demise.
I haven’t watched NBC at all since they canceled My Name Is Earl.
Rick you can do it if you have the right tv, look at your settings and GO ahead, YOUR OTHERS network don’t do that either. Programmation and innovation are the difference.
Don’t get too confident; it’s just NBC. Nobody with an IQ above 80 watches them.
The programming is just as mind-numbingly stupid or worse on Univision as the MSM networks. However the hot latinas make it worth it. Watch the novelas some time. Why can’t these be the illegals flooding this country? Also the news programs are just as in the tank for Obama and the Democrats as MSNBC but they have anchors/reporters far sexier than Fox news. This is not unrelated to their good ratings.
NBC = Nothing But Crap. Has been that way for about 15 years now. Nothing they do is good. CBS actually has some decent dramas and comedies. ABC does OK. Fox is innovative (at times). But NBC… yuck!
Hats off to Univision.
Maybe Comcast will finally see the light and start chopping left wing talking heads as well as current upper management at NBC, CNBC and MSNBC.
Networks are a thing of the past. I’m glad Univision is doing well and that it beat NBC. Its not about beating NBC. Its about having the opportunity to compete, which has been discriminating with the Latino networks in ad dollars. It’s no surprise Latino community is gaining strength in all aspects of the US. I don’t watch neither. I love watching show on cable like American Pickers, Food Network shows and Miami Heat Games
You stupid gringos have no idea…….NBC is a pro Obama leftist network and Univision is a pro Illegal alien network that all it wants is to create a hispanic country out of the USA.
Univision is a left leaning organization worst than NBC. They talk about hispanic when they only show Mexican shows. I stoped watching them yrears ago specially the support they give to liberal democrats.
How do yo spell journalism? Univision. Any questions?
