Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings has made a quiet exit on E!. A rep for the network confirmed that production on the weekly talk show has wrapped and last week’s episode was its last. Love You, Mean It With Whitney Cummings, produced by Chelsea Handler’s Borderline Amazing Prods, launched in November with a six-episode order. The network picked up six more episodes in January but has now opted not to order more. At the time of the renewal, E! brass touted Cummings’ ability to not only attract E!’s core female audience with her show but also develop a strong male following. The weekly series featured Cummings and sidekick Julian McCullough. Its guests included Mindy Kaling, Will Ferrell, Lizzy Caplan and Ginnifer Goodwin. Cummings still has her NBC sitcom and is consulting on CBS hit 2 Broke Girls, which she co-created.
TV Editor Nellie Andreeva - tip her here.

She should stay behind the camera. Why did they think this would work when her sitcom is unwatchable? Two Broke Girls has gotten so much better, but that’s probably because Whitney no longer works on it!
I still think Two Broke Girls is unwatchable. Kat Dennings is god-awful and the writting is dreadful. How this ever made it on the air is beyond me. Hope this is the next Whitney project to fail.
So, are we done overexposing her?
Thank god. Maybe her window is finally closing. Long overdue…
Does this mean Whitney Cummings popularity is dying down? YAY!
Does this mean Whitney has a better shot of being renewed? I certainly hope not!
I saw Whitney, show and cancelled, then I realied it wasn’t her sitcom.
Can her Nbc show be far behind? We shall see…
I’m a fan of hers – but I was never sold on her talkshow. Her sitcoms Whitney and 2 Broke Girls are funny, but have hit and miss episodes sometimes. Broke Girls has gotten better, but Whitney is off sometimes, last nights episode wasn’t funny. Part of the problem is NBC doesn’t know how to make a good multi-cam, hopefully they get better at it.
Can her other show be cancelled now?!?!
haters gonna hate
yup. and I hate her and lena dunham.

Hate you, Mean It!
Observes gonna observe. Hate is just a side effect of cognizance.
Saw the first show. Thought, it can not get worse. Then saw the second show, it got worse. I want my sixty minutes back.
Whitney the sitcom is horrendous. Whitney the late night show is funnier than Chelsea’s with much better guests with the exception of an occasional Aniston on Chelsea. Maybe Chelsea is jealous?
Love You Mean It was better than Chelsea was in the beginning. I didn’t know E! needed to cancel things at this hour, didn’t think they had anything else new/original/notkardashian to put at that hour and thought that the show could stay around for a while until it found its way. It can’t be about the money either, how much can this show cost? The most expensive thing had to be the set which was pretty nice compared to many other late night shows.
I like Whitney Cummings a lot and the show needed a little bit of work, but it was good enough and enjoyable for a network that doesn’t have that many good shows…or any.
One down, two to go.
Whitney is incredibly annoying she grates on people because she’s a hot personality and TV is supposed to be a cool medium.
Not a follower of Whitney’s career but love The Real Ed Hanson, her researcher, forever.
I never watched this but I eagerly await her exit from network television. Her sitcom is such garbage.
Whitney rocks! Her sitcom is great, more please.
Can’t believe they’re cancelling this while the Kartrashian machine keeps chugging along. The opening segments of Whitney’s talk show were hilarious! It was the lackadaisical guests on the couch (just weren’t trying hard enough–maybe too much alcohol in the green room…) and the pointless on-the-street comedy bits that dragged it down.
Whitney is awful, Two Broke Girls is unwatchable, but this E! show was actually in Whitney’s wheel house and was funny I thought. Or course, this is the one that gets cancelled. They should have given it more time to build an audience. But for the love of everything that is holy, cancel those other two shit shows.
It baffles me that nobody in Whitney’s camp is telling her the truth about how unfunny she comes across. Classic Hollywood example of the yes-man constantly whispering in the starlet’s ear that they’re great. The emperor has no clothes.
Great does this mean E!’s executives are falling out of love with Chelsea too?
Traditional Comcast/Universal/CAA Recipe for show:
1. Get CAA agents and network executives to desperately try to blend Chelsea Handler, Reese Witherspoon, Jennifer Anniston, Gwyneth Paltrow & Whitney Cummings into a television/PR batter until it’s a sleazy mess of crass humor and artistic obscenity.
2. Hope that nobody figures out what kind of lame cake you are trying to make.
3. Try in vain to boil down the twit mixture into an actual talent reduction sauce, but realize halfway through the process that you are out of that primary ingredient and it’s not available in stores.
4. Add lots of has been, used up actor flakes as guests (organic, of course) and then bake at lukewarm temperature until it’s a Goopy mess of Gwyneth Paltrow idiocy.
5. Take it out of the oven. Let it sit but be careful not to breathe any of the stench in.
6. Watch the public retch and gag as Comcast/NBC/Universal try to shove nauseating material down the public’s throat.
7. Let crappy-cake cool on a wire rack.
8. Realize that the public turned off their TV’s a long time ago & started watching the good shows on their computers.
Good riddance. She was overexposed to a level I’ve rarely seen in recent memory. Everything about her was crass, commercialized and plain annoying – that stupid advertorial announcing her sitcom, this talk show, and her unbearably annoying attempts at humor.
The sooner she’s gone from the airwaves, the better. Maybe then we can all take a breath of fresh air.
Whitney Cummings is the best! I love her show Whitney. It better not get canceled.
I agree. We (my husband and I) love her show and think it’s very funny and so is she. I am hoping her show Whitney does not get cancelled. I love her show!
I like her shows and I think she’s pretty and funny. I hope her sitcom gets a 3rd season and I can do a cameo.
