Middle Age Rage is probably the worst comedy script I’ve read this year, but more importantly – since when is 39 considered “middle age”??? That’s how old Annie Mumolo is. What a great shame, to waste a chance to cast a wonderful older actress who is actually older.
Um… definition of middle age is halfway through life expectancy. Which is mid to late seventies in America. So yes, 39 is definitely middle aged.
I agree with you about the script but according to the UN the average lifespan of U.S. women is 80 years old. So 39 would be right in the window of middle-age.
Some scripts this year (Divorce) are bad. Middle Age Rage is a new type of bad. It is a one note joke that just get hammered home like a nail. Too bad, as I generally like Will Sasso.
Mike and Angry Molly.
Paul Lee’s comedy department is about as funny as a cancer ward, and they haven’t generated an internal hit in four years. But the good news is this means Bridesmaids 2 is closer to happening than ever.
Love love love Will Sasso! One of the funniest guys in Hollywood. In fact, if you had put the cast of “Sh^^ My Dad Says” into a different show that wasn’t so poorly written, it would have been the next “Modern Family.”
Will Sasso is an underappreciated talent. Hope this show succeeds so he can show off his chops. And his muscular calves.
Script is baaaaad though talent attached is top notch. Run, Will, you are better than this!
Very excited about Will and this project! Hilarious script and hilarious people attached.
The good news is Sasso has a voice gig lined up as Murder Police got a 13 episode order.
