Paramount has just set the Leonardo DiCaprio-starrer The Wolf Of Wall Street directed by Martin Scorsese for wide release November 15, 2013. The film about the real-life rise and fall of Wall Street hotshot Jordan Belfort also stars Matthew McConaughey, Jonah Hill, Jean Dujardin, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie and Jon Bernthal. Terry Winter wrote the script. Red Granite Pictures financed and produced.

Bad release date. It’s gonna compete for similar audience with FOX’s “The Counselor”. Well, I’m gonna choose Scott’s flick but it’s definitely gonna be slaughterhouse.
I’d say if anyone needs to worry about changing their release date, it would be FOX.
Scorsese vs Scott? I choose Scorsese every time.
They are both targeting an adult audience. But The Counselor has a much darker tone though. The Wolf of Wall Street is a dramedy, a drama with a lot of comedy.
I like both Scott and Scorsese, but I’m choosing Scott, with a Cormac McCarthy script, a more interesting cast, and a less tired storyline (at least to me). I believe that the Wikileaks movie, “The Fifth Estate,” is also scheduled for release on that date.
I’d choose Scorsese as well if The Counselor didn’t have a near perfect screenplay written by our best author, Mr. Cormac McCarthy.
Fox Should Move The Counselor To Mid-October Like What Warner Bros Did With Argo And That Pay Off For That Film Both Box Office And Awards Wise. Scorsese For The Win!!!!!!!
Truth is, I probably wouldn’t be seeing this movie in the theater if it weren’t a Scorcese flick. Since it IS a Scorcese flick, however…
Truth is, the script is outstanding regardless of director. Scorsese is Scorsese, but this script didn’t need him.
you must not have read this script, it is rubbish. hack job.
This script made the 2007 Black List. Not bad for a hack job.
A little fun fact. Ridley Scott was once attached to direct The Wolf of Wall street. I’m glad the script ended up with the director it was best suited for in Marty Scorsese.
I remember one time I saw two movies in one weekend. It was fucking crazy.
I’ll be seeing The Counselor first. Its story and cast has me far more interested.
Also a suggestion to Scorsese; HIRE SOMEONE OTHER THEN DICAPRIO FOR PETE’S SAKE. There are plenty of other actors that would be much more inspired casting then Leo yet again. Hes not winning an Oscar you two, let it go. LOL
There movies are getting better and better. Like it or not loser DiCaprio is the reason for the most successful Scorsese movies of his career. DiCaprio doesn’t need an Oscar. He’s talented, successful and He’s here to stay. YOU GET OVER IT.

Let it go yourself loser. No-one cares about your juvenile hatred for DiCaprio.
The reality is that DiCaprio is responsible for the greatest success of Scorsese Career.
The most successful movies of M. S. are in order G.O.N.Y, Aviator, Departed and Shutter Island.
DiCaprio doesn’t need an Oscar. He’s talented, successful, popular and he’s here to stay.
LEARN TO LIVE WITH IT.
I would open Wolf on 3rd week of August, Marty and Leo would get late summer/early fall crowd. Nov 15th is asking for trouble, Counselor will cream Wolf. Ridley and action equals box office.
