Ann Cusack (Private Practice) is set to co-star opposite Christina Ricci, Daniel Stern and Miranda Cosgrove in NBC’s single-camera comedy pilot Girlfriend In A Coma, from Wolf Films and Universal TV. It centers on Karen (Ricci), a woman who was in a coma for many years and unexpectedly comes out of it to find she has a 17-year-old daughter, Evie (Cosgrove). Cusack, repped by Innovative and Framework, plays Karen’s mother who, along with her husband (Stern), has been raising Evie.
John Billingsley (True Blood) has been cast in CBS drama pilot Intelligence, centered at U.S. Cyber Command and focused on a unit that has been created around one agent (Josh Holloway) with a very special gift — a microchip has been implanted in his brain that allows him to access the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Billingsley, repped by Stone Manners Salners, plays Dr. William Crispin, a top computer neuroscientist formerly at the U.S. Cyber Command unit.

Intelligence is turning out to be a pilot i’m looking forward to seeing. The cast sounds very promising.
It baffles me that The minority lead casting are like a ratio of 2 to 25 I have to literally seen about 3 – 5 minority castings and about 32 The only pilot that has a lot of minority castings is fox’s gang related… I’m sure they’ll be gang members…. No I’m not racist and no I won’t not watch of show if theirs not minority s in it but damn this is crazy…
Is it really that baffling to you that MINORITIES are in the MINORITY of casting?
Hey prax,
Minorities aren’t the minority anymore and becoming less so every year. Why should 95% of the shows be about white people. White people aren’t 95% of the population or the viewing audience or the ad dollars. However, they are 99% of the network execs and directors and producers and writers who get work in Hollywood. THAT’S THE PROBLEM!
i will watch ANYTHING ann cusack is in. anything.
i can’t wait! i’m excited to see Miranda
