The Walking Dead‘s Dallas Roberts has joined the upcoming second season of CBS‘ drama Unforgettable, joining returning cast members Poppy Montgomery, Dylan Walsh and Jane Curtin. Roberts, repped by UTA and Circle Of Confusion, will play Eliot, who is in charge of the Major Cases Section of the NYPD. This expands Robert’s relationship with CBS — he also has a recurring role on The Good Wife. Tapped for recurring roles on Unforgettable are James Laio as Jay, a detective with expertise in a wide range of technical subjects in the Major Cases Section of the NYPD; and Tawny Cypress as Murray, a former decorated FBI agent who begins work at the Major Cases Section of the NYPD. Unforgettable, from Sony TV and CBS Studios, returns July 28.

Damn,I had completely forgotten about this show! I only remembered it because of this article Nellie. Am I the only one who thought this had long ago been canceled?
The show was canceled these about a month after it was renewed for a 13 episode season to begin in the summer
This was a dull, lackluster show.
Yup, “Unforgettable” was the WORST–trite and on-the-nose writing, dull and predictable stories. It may be coming back, but then it’ll be going away. Fast.
Awful show. Waste of time and money CBS.
Most forgettable show in history…Great Idea CBS bringing it back. Can’t wait to see the ratings. smh
I bet they are better than SMASH – even in the summer. Saw premier episode and then decided to pass. It needed some major retooling. Who knows? At least CBS will be offering new product this summer instead of ceding the procedurals to TNT.
Re-tooling? How about recasting? Get rid of plastic Poppy and replace her with Anna Torv. She would be believable in this role. AND she can act.
I guess this means R.I.P. Milton Mamet.
I was thinking the same thing.
I thought this show was cancelled ages ago! How can a show like this come back when other shows like Zero Hour, get cancelled? Unforgettable certainly wasn’t unforgettable!
I watched the entire first season, the show had some good elements, but unfortunately, those are not coming back. I am speaking of actors Brit Lower, who played Tanya, and Kevin Rankin who played Detective Roe Saunders. They were supporting cast but where much more interesting to watch than the insipid Poppy Montgomery, who they tried to make a sex symbol. And they added Jane Curtain, who is just wasted on this show. A great actress indeed, but she should be doing something better.
Of course every one could be doing something better but she wasn’t working at all!!!
