Derek Luke is set to co-star opposite Jason Lee in Second Sight, CBS‘ drama pilot from Michael Cuesta and Carol Mendelsohn. Based on the British series, Second Sight is a gothic psychological thriller about Tanner (Lee), the lead detective with the New Orleans Police Department who is hiding the fact that he has an ocular disorder that causes him to have horrifying hallucinations. Luke plays detective Paul Giroux who is new to the team.
Jane Lynch (Glee) and That ’70s Show alum Wilmer Valderrama have been added to the voice cast of Fox’s upcoming animated comedy series Murder Police. From co-creators David A. Goodman and Jason Ruiz, the inter-office workplace comedy series follows a dedicated, but inept detective (Ruiz) and his colleagues – some perverted, some corrupt, some just plain lazy – in a twisted city precinct. Lynch will voice Justice, a self-righteous detective and working mother. Valderrama will play undercover cop Donel, who is in so deep that he often does things of questionable legality. The two join Will Sasso, Chi McBride, Peter Atencio, Justina Machado and Jason Ruiz. Murder Police is produced by Bento Box Animation and 20th Century Fox TV.
