Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis star in the Todd Phillips-directed The Hangover Part III, the third and final film in the comedy franchise. This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off. Warner Bros dropped this teaser trailer today. It opens on May 24th.

But why?
$$$$$$$$$$$
I just wish it made me laugh. Even a little.
+1
Though the movie could be a different story, that’s a really well made teaser!
There is nothing funny about animal cruelty. Disgusting.
Did they actually decapitate that giraffe?
They did. Worst day of my life, we never saw it coming.
I love you.
LOL!
doesnt matter if its real or not still not right.
It made me laugh. Because for me it’s not about the giraffe… it’s about Alan’s stupidity.
Plus it’s a movie so I’m guessing the giraffe in reality is actually okay.
usingmyvoice…get a hold of youself
For sure I’m hyper sensitive to this…but there’s also the part where the bird is about to be smothered with a pillow. It’s not funny at all. These are highly paid writers and I’m pretty sure they can come up with funny scenes that don’t involve the idea of animals being hurt.
Hope everybody got paid on this gig.
Where the Monkey LOL!
This why they close down 710 Freeway last year LOL!
It was the 73 in Newport Beach
Thought the first one was a lot of fun, like everyone else. Zach was fresh then, the rest of the cast too.
The second film was maybe the worst studio film of the last ten years.
You clearly missed Paul Blart Mall Cop and about 10 other garbage studio films
Paul Blart Mall Cop is great, have you not seen it?
Calm down, Mr. Worst-Studio-Film-of-the-Last-Ten-Years. I think you forgot about four hundred movies when you said that.
No, unfortunately for me, I’ve also seen most of the other worst studio films of the past ten years. Joe Dirt, Kangaroo Jack, these are masterworks by comparison.
Hangover 2 was the worst because of the level of talent involved on both sides of the camera. And because the first one set the quality bar at a decent level. Everything that worked in the first one… just didn’t here. Call it comedic timing, whatever, it was horrible.
I’m no Mel Gibson apologist, but at least having him do the cameo would have given this thing some edge. I mean, we had a convicted rapist in the first one do the cameo, and Gibson was deemed too offensive?
Hangover 2 is a horrible, horrible, horrible film. Even the monkey was barely funny and monkeys are at least a little funny always.
The giraffe is tall and the bridge is low… get it? Hilarious!
This franchise jumped the monkey after Part I. Why Legendary opted to rehire the same writer after he failed to make Part II funny and/or original is perplexing.
Mazdin is an extremely nice and talented guy and II wasn’t as bad as people said. It was honestly pretty good as far as comedy sequels go and the hype around the first just made expectations impossible to live up to. The hook was the hangover and the mystery that followed, a premise that can only be fresh once so when you go to see a sequel you should expect a sequel.
It doesn’t matter if this movie is good or not or if everyone thinks it’s stupid to repeat the same story over and over again. This movie is going to make so much $$$$$$$$$$$. You can’t blame everyone involved in this franchise to want to split 1 billion dollars again. Being involved in a franchise like this is statistically harder than winning powerball 10 times. Congrats to everyone who is rolling in the sweet greens.
If it’ll make $$$ whether good or bad, that begs the question: why not make it good?
You clearly must be hungover…the answer to your question is that it would take effort and thought to make it good. And why waste that energy? Everyone involved will receive the same obscene amount of $$ just to show up. And they know it….clearly! And guess what…the people who went to the first two films WILL SHOW UP!!! In droves!! Believing they are watching a funny movie because the studio called it a comedy. And they will laugh….because Hollywood spent millions making this comedy so it must be funny…and everyone on Twitter and Facebook is going so they must go too.
I understand that Hangover IV is set for a May 2015 release Memorial Day weekend….
I loved the first film. Hated the second one. Won’t watch the third.
So, yeah, delivering a crappy product does make a difference to the $$$. It’ll make bank, no doubt, but it could have made much more if that “effort” you mentioned was there. If Legendary keeps putting out inferior product, it’ll also undermine their brand. There was a time when the Legendary logo usually meant a cool movie was about to start. Nowadays, not so much…
Hangover III vs. Fast 6: Round one, FIGHT!
Another comedic gem from Craig Mazin!
Stop it. You’ll make him cry on his podcast again.
Either that or he’ll go into one of his “being a professional screenwriter is like playing professional sports — only the best of the best of the best get to do what I do” rants.
please bring back the original writers, Lucas and Moore, for the fourth!
Anytime a trailer is just a collection of random scenes rather than a summary of the plot that’s a bad sign.
It won’t be as good as the first and probably better than the second. Two stars out of four.
Another stupid comedy. I’m proud that I never saw the previous two and I won’t be going to see this one either. It’s crap but I’m sure Phillips and Mazin are very proud of it.
However you took the time to watch the trailer and then write a comment about how much you never watched the prior crappy movies. Did Phillips edit out your 5 seconds?
Unfunny. They made it to cash a check.
Godammit I hate these movies. This one looks like it could easily be the worst. Here’s hoping this shit franchise goes away forever.
Sweet. Or sweat. Not too sure.
This site, as evidenced here, has become a meeting place for the bitter, spiteful, and most likely unsuccessful trollers that spend their day hunched over their one prized possession from their dusty and depressing Hollywood studio apartments spouting bile across the web in an effort to comfort themselves that they are not as sad as they fear themselves to be. This franchise are the highest grossing comedy movies of all time. No one cares if you like it or not.
“This franchise are the highest grossing comedy movies of all time”
Couldn’t have said it any better myself! I can’t wait to see what wacky hijinks the gang get into this time!
And on a business level, hats off to them. The first one is a good film which helped propel a lot of careers, justifiably. The second one blew. There are some really talented people here involved. Let’s hope this one is good, and guess what? You might then be able to get another five sequels out of it.
